Why is google serving up ads for concert tickets(U2/Aerosmith) on the site? Doesn't seem too relevant.
Just hit me, must be the word "tour". Well I clicked a few ads, good luck on the tour.
Just in case anyone is interested in real, proven data mining software...
Check out both SAS and PolyVista.
PolyVista is capable of performing some remarkable visualizations that allow you to explore large data sets in ways that just are not possible with traditional OLAP tools.
The way these motions were derived was through a (probably rather long-winded and painstaking) process of trial and error. It probably went like: move foot forward 1mm - robot topples - repeat, now move foot 1mm to the right first... you can see this has nothing to do with intelligence.
Hmmm...kind of like a human child learns it's motor skills. Ask anybody small child if the child stood up and walked across the floor on the first try. It takes years for a human to develop the motor skills that these robots have. The child topples and records the memory in its database(brain) and tries again until it succeeds.
Once a motion is succesfully completed is much more likely to be sucessful on the next attempt. It is the same for the robots, when the right sequence of movements has been captured in the database, it becomes likely that motion will succeed on the next attempt.
Thanks! I got it to work on channel 3. I am now sitting on the other side of the house and responding wirelessly on my laptop. It is working great. I also have 100% signal strength which is something I was concerned about after reading some Amazon reviews of the Linksys Wireless-B router I just purchased. Ahh life is good:)
I just got wireless broadband out here in rural West Virginia. Amazing..I know. It is great as I get 1.3Mb down about the same up for $50 a month. Anyhow I just bought a wireless router and it seems to interfere with my wireless broadband antenna. When I enable the wireless functionality on the router my internet connect goes bye-bye. Anyone else had similar experience.
I'm pretty sure my wireless broadband is over 802.11b and the wire router I bought is 11b as well. Any solutions?
I play about a dozen WC III games a week and have encountered griefers on numerous occasions. It doesn't bother me so much when they are on the opposing team, but aggravates me to no end when they are on my team. Blizzard should not have a difficult time identifying the griefers since anyone that wants to report abuse can simply send a replay as evidence.
Now that I am above level 10, I encounter the griefers much more rarely as I am usually matched up with more serious players. However, in the lower levels I would probably encounter a griefer in 1 of every 5 games.
Look me up on BNET:

That brings up an important question I had. Is the TV weatherman actually hovering horizontally over the continental United States during the forecast or is the weather report just more "Hollywood Magic"? Makes you wonder...
I agree. This year I got a GameCube for Christmas. I love my PS2, but the GG just really appealed to me for several reasons:
1) Multiplayer titles - I was looking for some games that I could play with the kids. Mario Kart DD and Smash Bros. Melee fit the bill perfectly
2) As the parent said some titles simply aren't available on other consoles.(Metroid Prime and Zelda in particular)
3) No multitap needed for 4 player games. Give the kids the wired controllers and I sit back in the recliner with the WaveBird.
4) Nostalgia -- The familiarity with Ninetendo characters can't be ignored. It reminds me of playing NES with my brothers for hours on end.
5) Price -- At the $99 price point it seems just plain cheap to the two GBA SPs that we have.
I can honestly say that since Christmas we haven't even turned the PS2 on once other than to watch DVDs.
Wife and I like to play Tony Hawk on the PS2. Graffitti is the best one as long as she doesn't get mad at you for stealing her "tag". Just have to remind her that its just a game and nothing personal.
She also likes the Mario games on the GBA, so for Christmas this year I am getting a GC with Smash Bros and Mario Kart Double Dash. Should be fun.
Take a look at Dennis Miller's recent take on the space program. He makes a few good points in his own way.
My favorite quote was:
Instead of coaxing a Battle-Bot off-road on the Red Planet why don't we take NASA's budget and rededicate it to a public works project and build a comprehensive system of bullet trains right here on terra firma? Because, quite frankly, the current odds of getting to Saturn are a whole lot better than those of going from L.A. to Fresno on Amtrak.
I can't remember one trip I have been on since reaching adulthood where I didn't plan my route using MapQuest if I did not know my way. Not once has it failed me on a single vaction or business trip.
I guess this route planning service is something folks used to get with AAA membership? I think I remember my parents having a bunch of state maps and stuff from AAA when we would travel in the 80's and early 90's. I wonder what kind of effect this has had on their business over the past 10 years or so.
My favorite feature of MapQuest is using the aerial photography/satellite view. It gives you a neat perspective of your home town and doesn't cost a dime.

I would see my wife playing video games. A few months ago I bought a GBA SP cause it looked cool and I kept hearing great things about Advance Wars. Little did I know that 75% of it's use is by my wife who never touched my PS2. The 3D games "make her dizzy" she says. Seems she real likes the old school platformers like Yoshi's Island. She said she used to play it as a kid(much to my surprise). My daughter is almost as bad with the GBA, except I am ALLOWED to restrict her video game time. Probably going to need to get another SP within a few months if I ever want to finish Advance Wars. *sigh*
Do we really need to give that guy in the question mark suit(Matthew Lesko)yet another way to tick us off by screaming how people can get free money from the government?
"Johnny Smith just got 50,000 dollars just to write low quality video games in his basement. Buy my book and I'll show you how!!"
Sheesh...
Hmm...traffic in London didn't seem so bad in those commercials for The Getaway on PS2. I guess someone at the production studio decided that 5mph car chases just aren't that fun.

I think there is a remote chance that the Revolution will be able stop the current decline.

Wal-Mart has a selection of rack mount severs. Look pretty cheap to me.

If you mugged someone for their ipod, would you not also be liable for any illegally downloaded songs on that ipod? That could be a hefty fine.
I just watched it break 50k a minute ago.

Wouldn't that kind of be like blackmail?
Buy our service or we will shut down your site. Not sure folks are going to be real happy about that.

Nobody disarmed the Columbine murderers. They took their own lives. I'm not sure which shooting you are referring to.
Yeah sure they did. Next you'll be telling me NASA put a man on the moon!
