That would create a paradox, it would click a link because in the future you were to click that link, but since it clicked that link for you, you couldn't have clicked the link, and the information it used to determine which link to click couldn't possibly have existed, so we're screwed.
eCos, running in 512KB SRAM and providing one month of battery life
Linux, running in 64MB of SDRAM and providing considerably more than a day of battery life A day of battery life??
I'd mod you up if I had the points. The pics from the Richmond Times Dispatch are incredible, and sad. What some people would do for a deal. After seeing the picture of the lady with the busted baby carriage picking up after herself, it begs the question, why would you bring your baby to something like this?
That was from Wired magazine. (and I'm sure it was posted on/., we love regurgitating wired articles here!) I'm too lazy to try and find. But it was quite a fascinating article!
wow....someone who managed to get working Wayback Machine links in a/. post. In the past few days i've seen a bunch of posts where people tried unsucessfully to link to them...whats the secret?
I'm with you on that one, I think I actually saw a show about that recently. I believe that they were saying as there's less and less of an ice cap, that companies/countries are looking to exploit the northwest passage and stuff...if only we had a way to defend it--like submarines.
in my neck of the woods, you can pick the up audio for the local CBC station at the bottom of the FM spectrum (87.9). useful if there's a hockey game you want to see and there's no other radio station covering it but cbc is...
With sympatico DSL service here in Canada, you do not need a phone line to connect. It's not advertised obviously, but it's possible (i did it). They just give you a dummy phone number, flip a switch at you CO and thats it. Obviously this implies that you have wires to your place: if you don't then you have to pay more for a tech to visit.
I wouldnt want to watch video in public. I've seen someone watching a video on a PSP, and the person sitting beside her kept trying to steal a glance at the screen without being too obvious. If I was her and I caught someone doing that I'd be pissed off!
As if they needed it. The past three days business has been about nothing but Raincoast Books, and of course Harry Potter doesn't need anymore publicity.
you said the magic word: elastomania!
I spent so much time playing that, managed to get to the final level (with the 5 level skips you're allowed...some of them were impossible!)
The receipts are usually kept by the merchant for a period of time in case a transaction has to be verified (like someone above mentionned in the case of fraudulent transactions). The convenience store that I work at has paper records and receipts for the past few years stored on premises.
That's exactly what I'm looking for as I move into my own appartment. I have a cell, so I don't need a landline and I don't want to pay $30/month for a phone line + $40 for dsl.
Considering that the title of the home page is "MMA Internal Web" and it says in big letters (in a flash) "welcome to our internal pages", I don't think that those schedules are meant to be seen by the general public. They have each student's physical address!
Only 50 minutes of Phys. Ed. a week! Ha!
Completely off-topic, but since when has/. been using these? "To confirm you're not a script,

that brings back memories...MK for Genesis: ABACABB -- the blood code. How do I remember this stuff?
so you're never going to buy a car/beer/cell phone/perfume?
from that page, a link to a new calc being developed:

I'm doing alright with Sympatico High Speed at the moment here in Montreal. Running my own site and have no issues. Speed is good, no complaints.

no shit....do we have cvs pharmacies in canada? I guess not even Pharmaprix/Shoppers Drug Mart will touch these.
Because everyone has a Japanese credit card.

I finally got connected to the yahoo stream at T-10 seconds...just in time.
*woosh* that was the sound of the joke passing way over your head. (it was in reference to an Alanis Morissette song)

use an actual credit card processor. (Just not Cardsystems, or whatever they are called)

I wish there was an offer like that in my city.
