    I have it installed on my system, which is more than i can say about IE.

    In all seriousness the percentage of people using Opera compaired to IE or even Firefox is trivial. Why not start talking about iCab or winamp's built in browser? Opera is and probably always will have a trivial userbase..

    We just usually choose to ignore people like yourself who think we don't exist.

    I suppose I forgot to add "no bitchy personalities" to my statement in that case.

    You have to be blind to think there's any reasonable amount of women in the computer science world.

    Both those sites are PACKED with scammers making fake accounts leading to other sites. which is just as bad.

    it's not really shocking that MySpace lets this sort of thing through, i've always been completly un-impressed with MySpace's design.. it's always been a wonder to me why people use it.. other than the obvious "everyone else is using it" syndrome..

    i don't know.. why not ask valve why they continue to update Counter-Strike: Source every week..

    maybe they do so to entice new customers to buy their wares? maybe because it forms bran loyalty? maybe just becuase they like delivering a quality product that people will enjoy.

    business doesn't ALWAYS have to be about dollar signs you know. some people go into business to put out a good product.

    considering their Privacy Policy states that they'll keep records of what sites you visit along with some other info, yes, yes i do think there is money to be made off this.

    Another problem however i see is, what is the possible gain from a study like this being conducted.. ?

    What happens when, without a doubt they prove that men are more intelligent than women, then what? What possible good can come from such a finding? This brings the study's author's ethics in to question. Much the same way someone proving that black's are inferior to whites.. etc.

    You have to admin, in the past there have been a lot of bad studies "proving" the white man's superiority. So it's not shocking people who read this might cry fowl. I plan to hold my reaction untill *after* i read it, as should most others. Though just reading the title/summary, you should take it with a grain of salt.

    a theater does not "buy" a film.

    the only thing it costs to get a movie is the delivery costs.
    ticket sales are then divided between the theater and the distributor. in a movie's first week that percentage can be 85% or, if it's a george lucas film.. 100% of ticket sales goes back to the distributor.
