Ever so often green smoke would come up out of one of the smoke stacks. One time a worker looked up and said there's another 50K in fines. Went on to explain it was cheaper to pay the fine then get rid of properly.
>Credit cards didn't create this problem. They >Credit cards didn't create this problem.
They made not have created this problem, but they turned into from a small problem to a huge one.
The amount of debt the average american has is astounding, and the cause of it is credit cards.
Please note I am not blaming the credit cards, it is the consumers fault. But having easy access to "endless" credit has been the downfall of many people and marriages.
I thought fat32 took care of the cluster size thing. Remember when win98 came out and they one reason claimed it was better than 95 was you got more hard drive space.
Of course fat32 worked with 95 at the least the later versions.
I remember one math book i was reading(calc or linear algebra). I had no idea what the author was talking about. Completely lost I plodded through the remaining pages in the section.
I then looked at the questions and could answer every one correctly. I had already learned what the book was trying to teach and still couldn't understand the chapter.
They needs to be a standard way to refer to different licenses.
Most lay people would assume that open source means you could look at it. But in tech circles that is not the case. It has to be more than that.
And does the tech definition of open source include BSD, GPL, public domain, etc licenses?
Or is it just refering to GPL?
Or does it depend on who you ask.
I used to work for a large chemical company.

I have no idea if he was serious.
Do you suffer from dillusionment?
Is this the modern day version of a boy named sue?
Yes, I know it's April 1st.
Almost everything is a poison in large enough doses to living things.(Water to a fish would be an exception)
Granted it would take a large amount of water or coffee to kill someone, but if taken enough it would kill you.
Do you really want universal health care?
Why do you want to learn programming?
Job, hobby, for fun, general knowledge, etc...
Just curious how old is an old man?
At least when it comes to gamers.
MS is getting fined because they bundled WMP with windows? Is that correct?
Please tell me there is something more.
Are linux distributions not allowed to do this? OS X? Other os's?
Personally when my mother opens her new XP box, I want WMP installed along with a whole bunch of another apps(some zip type program comes to mind)
Help me out here.
What is a undead push?

I agree, but I bet if you asked 99.9% of people if they received a large chunk of money would they be happier, they would say yes.
Actually, I meant the hunger stat. :-)
I figure the government says in pays $76 for a screw so it can funnel most of that into some black op project(complete guess).
I would like to know where you get that stat?
Good lord settle down, radio and broadcast tv have always been censored.
> but you must admit that the NES ones sucked
Actually I never played the NES version, but I will take your word for it.
umm... but I think alot of people would argue that many of the D&D games on the PC were quite good.
I am thinking Neverwinter Nights, Bladgur's Gate, Pool of Radiance(the 1st one).
And the DragonLance series.
I'm sure there are others I am missing.
Why? You could always kill yourself.
Computer games are going the way of music, tv, and movies. The get more vulgar every year.
Eventually, there will be a back lash and more family friendly games will come out.
They may sell well but the developers will still make 90% of the stuff they sell vulgar because they can i guess.
What?
You gotta be kidding me.
Linux may be catching up, but you are saying they are on equal footing?
I don't think so.
>If you really know you algebra and trig you'll have no problem with Calculus.
I would agree except the algebra is more important than the trig.
I think I learned more algebra in calc than I did in all my other classes combined. Algebra was also the hardest thing about calc in my opinion.

>hundreds of seperate alarms went off at the same time at a nuclear power plant how is the operator supposed to repond to that?
I would respond by hauling my butt off the premises and fast as possible.
Just don't let your kid become a jerk.
Or look down on others, nothing is worse than an arrogant geek. Sure he may be different but not better.
