    I looked into this. Just to get started, the vegetable oil costs 2.50$ a gallon. In bulk.

    Add the costs of processing to turn it into biodeisel and you've got a very expensive solution.

    And that's not taking into account of the skyrocketing price when large numbers of people start buying up the oil.

    It's not even close to the same thing.

    To get an electrical shock you have to stick your finger though a spinning blade. This is not easy, and anyone with the ability to feel pain will draw back almost instantly upon touching the fan.

    A better analogy would be a razor blade sitting in a cup of acid. With no reason at all to stick your finger in the acid.

    Maybe the press is different where you come from, but here they'll psych themselves up to a fever pitch if they can make anything sound dangerous.

    Wow, you can get one of those for as much as an Apple? Please give more info!

    I doubt it though. A top of the line G5 fully tricked out will run around 10k. I suspect your 32-way power 5 w 128 gig will run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

    I don't think that the stigma for being a male nurse drives away guys from the nursing field as much as the fact that you have to deal with sick/dying people as part of your job.

    I know I couldn't handle it. And if I could, I wouldn't become a nurse, I'd become a doctor.

    Seriously, how the hell is this a problem?

    Do you have to put warnings on drills so the user realizes that excruciating pain means he should stop drilling into his skull?

    Unless you use a large passive heat sink, how do you think you're going to dissapate that extra 110w of heat?

    I would of gone with a mini-itx for my home server box, except that all the SATA drives give off a lot of heat. Normal external drive enclosures use small noisy high speed fans.

    So I built a normal PC using the Super Lanboy case, which uses 120mm fans. Plus a quiet power supply that uses a 120mm fan. I don't have to run them anywhere near full speed to get good airflow across the drives. Reasonbly quiet and sits in my bedroom.

    Also doubles as a nightlight.

    hurm, 168 processors = 84 boards, 2500 / 84 equals....

    30 watts per board?

    Depending on the actual processing power, this sort of thing sounds sweet to set up a mini-cluster.

    Not with what you've said so far. Ok, so you're unwilling to bring in someone as an "Apprentice" and show them the ropes. Fine.

    But if you're getting more customers than you can handle, then it's time to raise the rates. What's the point of putting in the extra work to make a quality business if you don't get rewarded for it?

    What's to enjoy?

    Sand gets in between your toes. Waves crash on the beach. Trees just sit there and make that "wooshing" sound.

    It takes me about 5 minutes of watching nature before I get bored.

    Oh, and lazy.

    Look, I just want a bigass drive that can hold all my MP3s and any video I record with my video card. I don't want to mess around with tapes.

    If the machine explodes violently, well, that's life. If a drive dies, I get it replaced and don't lose any data.
