Did your mother search your whole room in every freaking corners every day to see if you hadn't hidden a porn book somewhere ? If you had hidden one, and she had found and confiscated it, would that have helped you in any way in your life ?
The point is that it can help later in life. You respect women and you don't always think about sex which for men are both hard to do (no pun intended). It may not help but the point is that it can. Parents are meant to be parents and teachers, not friends.
That won't help my parents who are about 2 miles too far from the nearest CO to get any type of DSL from Verizon and the only *viable* option is Comcast cable at $55/mo or something like that.
"Well, it took so long to get to web pages; I always thought the Internet was broken!
I don't know anyone who actually would think that. Even my parents realize that it is just slow because of their dial-up service only capable of pushing so much data through at a time. Then again, maybe your girlfriend is the same type who thinks she can get the Internet to fit onto a floppy so she can carry it around with her?
The 2mb cache might be faster than the 1mb of cache that is in the regular P4 (compared to the 2mb in the p4 ee) but I would guess that since it's an extra 1mb that it would increase the cost as well. Xeons were relatively expensive when they came out (and still might be but I don't follow them) because they had huge cache sizes.
Hmm. He has a GeForce2 MX AGP card. I picked up the latest drivers from nVidia for that to no avail. Im guessing what you mean by the nForce chipset drivers is more for the motherboard/video combo?
Sort of, I'm sorry. Nforce2 is the chipset of my AMD64 motherboard. I have an ATI video card. I dont know if nVidia has any nforce2 chipsets related to video cards or not. I would hope not since that would be confusing with the motherboard chipsets.
I had issues after reinstalling XP Pro with getting my ATI software to work again. I downloaded all their newest versions of the MMC software but everytime I would start recording the monitor would lose the video and I'd have to do a hard reboot. I called ATI. They recommended installing the chipset drivers for my nForce2 board. Oddly enough that was one set of drivers I forgot to reinstall. I tried that and it worked fine after that.
The only reason I see for USB TV tuners is for laptops or other machines without the ability to add something internally.
Gee, and what do you know. I bet that's one of their target markets. And for people who have more than 1 pc but only want to buy one tuner and not swap out the card all the time.
If you would quit assuming and actually look around you ( and even ask people) what they really want, the vast majority of people would actually not mind and many would like the idea of religious prayer and other such things being performed in public. They like the sense of unity that religion gives them. It gives them something to lean on when times are tough and brings people closer together. No one forces you to join in a public prayer but for those who like that sort of thing but are now not allowed to do that in certain public venues, it takes a part of them and throws it away. The people of this country are mainly Christian. It is a religious country contrary to what your rational mind would like you to think. Most people like religion and do not have a problem with it.
You may not see any religious buildings being torn down but that is only one aspect that you mention. Prayer has been removed from any sort of school activity, even if the *students* initiate it. What's that tell you? Even when the public wants to express their religion they are not allowed to because of others in public being afraid it will offend someone else. That isn't freedom of religion by any means. Monuments are being removed from public locations. Pretty soon statements on our currency will be removed. I don't think minority religions should be able to tell a majority religion to shut up.
No one of the majority religion forces the minority religion to do something they don't want to however the minority religion is removing the ability for the majority religion to express itself in public. There *is* something wrong with that.
Basically you are saying there is a freedom of religion, but only if it doesn't offend you as the first rule and stays in the private lives of people but the majority of religious people express some of their religion in public, with others *gasp*. By telling them they need to control their religion so you don't have to see it you are offending some people but that doesn't seem to matter as long as YOU aren't being offended. Sounds like a double standard to me.
It doesn't work for me. If you call that superstition then by extension you should be able to call any religion a superstition; do you? But anyway, it's hard to get anyone with a thick skull to understand the definitions of faith, values, absolutes, and morals which form the basis of many religions, but as soon as the word religion is used all hell breaks loose because the non-believers think they are the normal ones for some reason.
Well if you knew anything you would know that THOSE people are the true quacks. The Christian God does not have humans do killing for him, because for one thing He tells us that is a sin to begin with. Al Quaeda members seem to think their god Allah wants them to kill people and that they will get rewarded if they do so. You don't judge a baseball team by 1 or 2 bad players therefore you shouldn't judge a religion by what a few members do (even though you do anyway because you think it's fun). The US is not in a religious war; it's in a terrorist war which for the terrorists it would be a religious war because their god tells them to kill us. Maybe I should clarify the original statement by saying any religion that does not reward killing never hurt anyone, Christianity being one of them. It also helps that the members of religion actually listen to the teachings of the religion for it to be effective.
I already stated this in an earlier post but God gave us animals in order for the human race to utilize them as we see fit. There is nothing wrong with eating deer because that's what they are there for. The human species is the highest on the food chain. Every other animal we have rule over contrary to what some people may think. All the answers to these questions/problems can be found in the Bible if some people would just stop being bigots and read it.
Hopefully the next 6mag+ earthquake hits San Fran too.
Old people are set in their ways. They don't want to evacuate therefore the elections will still be screwed up.

You got a check?
So do the math yourself. if AMD has 20% of the capacity of Intel, and both are maxed out, who sells more?
I hate math. Don't make me think.

I hope you aren't surprised by who he is blaming since he will say anything for elections.
It's not a tell-tale of anything other than a big explosion.
It was reported to be between 2 and 4km in diameter. That's more than just a big explosion. That's a bomb.
welcome our overlords of the flies
Maybe the actual coverage but not the actual presidency. The media is biased and some people like it that way.

Masturbation sucks doesn't it? That blindness just creeps on you but the first sign is dyslexia.

You better check under your car.
email me :)
Those who believe the Bible is right don't need it to be proven to them and those who don't believe never will believe.

You are thinking too far outside the box. Stop that.

The new Bagle variant is going around. That is a software transmitted disease so it is possible. That's what STD stands for, right?
