So that we can have lots of reporters claiming to know something and having it turn out to be a lie? I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not too interested in another Waco. Also, even if what the reporters say is true, how do we know the information came from a reputable source?

I find this to be another sign that all these anouncements of "heightened levels of alert" and the security codes (blue, red, orange), or whatever they are called, are mainly there to try and scare the populace. While the country believes that we are in danger, the people have shown they will blindly follow the president. This correlates with the lack of security at Los Alamos. Even though we always hear about how dangerous it is, and how we ought to go out and buy duck tape and plastic sheeting, the most important scientific areas are barely protected. How easy would it be to enter Los Alamos, like this reporter did, and start planting bombs? Would the person be caught? I doubt it. I wonder how difficult it would be to infiltrate a military complex. Probably more so, but then again, who cares about science nowadays?
My two cents.

If I got 2.2 million credit cards, I might not do anything with them. That would keep the authorities guessing, no one would find me, and it would just prove that I could do it. Plus, after a new mansion, several big LAN parties, and the new European suit, someone might start asking questions.
I don't know if anyone else mentioned this, but Sun Microsystems computers have Copy, Paste, and other such keys on their keyboards. I personally don't mind Key Combos, but single keys would be nice. I actually don't even know what "Scroll Lock" does, so I'll probably never use it.
Umm, pardon me, but cloning is not going to kill millions or hundreds of thousands or even 15,000. Comparing Nuclear research and cloning with respect to death tolls is like comparing a mosquito bite (not west nile mind) to a bear ripping your arm off. Hardly proportional.

He failed his finals? Hmm, if you read the article, you'd see that he got 2 A's, 1 B, and was still waiting on results for his other finals. So where did the "failing" part come from?

I agree, that phrase threw me off too. Also, even if I like New Zealand, it is rather odd to have a topic on/. about it.
PS: Why is this "flamebait"? I would say it's interesting.
I agree, sometimes I think that cracking is the best learning method. I knew a kid in middle school who figured out how to install games on the library computers, just through a simple disconnecting of the ethernet cable. Another person hacked the school net. "Rules are made to be broken." Back on topic though, it would be neat to have a domain where cracking was expected, just to see how many loopholes really exist.
I know some people from New Zealand, and they're pretty nice. I've heard it's pretty too, they filmed the Lord of the Rings there, as well as some other movies, I believe.
I believe there is a computer museum in Baltimore, as well as a really awesome aquarium. It's a pretty cool place to go. Besides that, I would reccomend the "Deutsche Museum" in Muenchen (Germany). It has some really neat sections, including a section on old computers, like those that would take up the space of most of your house.
I agree, if we spent the, what, 400 billion that's going to the military on the national debt, we'd quickly be going out of debt. Then we could start really investing well.
I agree, I didn't have any problems either. I remember the 1.2 beta version was horrible. After about 10 uses of Mozilla Mail, the program would just stop opening. Thankfully, I haven't had that happen with 1.2 so far. I downloaded 1.2 when it came out, and I downloaded 1.2.1. I figure that whatever it fixes, it's better to have, than not to have. On the other hand, I don't visit CNN;-).

I believe that there are some legal rules about not enforcing a patent. Even if the patent is legal, you can't just wait until billions of dollars in payment builds up, and then pounce. It doesn't make sense, and I doubt it is legal.
Hmm, I don't know what country you live in, but in the US, the PS2 is not $250+.

Aw, comeon, I kind of like them. Though I do agree, they could have a bit more, shall we say, umph to them ...

And 90% of what you've said has nothing to do with the question. Post your rants somewhere else.

How did this even come up, the post had nothing to do with jews or even black people. How did this come up?
