Albertsons.com still does grocery delivery. I haven't been inside a grocery store this year. They charge a $5 fee to pick it up at your local store, $10 for delivery. The only downside is it's only available where Alberstons has a local presence.
I love them. I've been using my Trackman Marble since around '95. I've never had the slightest problem with a sore thumb, even after marathon gaming sessions. I use one at work all day as well. I use Ebay to grab a used one every once in a while. I've got around 4 spares right now.
Your argument is still fallacious. You use only unsubstantiated anecdotal evidence. I can do the exact opposite and it's just as true. I've had around five Lite-on drives and never had any trouble that can be attributed to hardware. In addition, there are plenty of forums praising them as excellent bang for the buck drives.
The only thing that can be objectively said about Lite-On drives is they're cheap. They possess features that many who like to copy commercial software find desirable. And their quality and reliablity is about the same as any widely produced consumer electronic device, ie plenty break or don't work due to a variety of reasons.
If you're not a fan of Lite-on, it's simply because you are unlucky, and you haven't come to experince the unavoidable limitations of mass producing consumer electronics.
I've read that the most industry types consider The Sims a fluke. They don't seem to understand exactly what it is that made it so successful. So more than likely there will be a bunch of bad, unsuccessful knockoff attempts. After which, they'll just continue on with what they know will sell.
Well the newer P4s with the Hyper-Threading should do a little bit of what you want. Not quite as good as a 2 or 4 way SMP system, but should be significantly better than a tradional single CPU system at multitasking.
I have to agree. Vonage is very nice. Since we signed up for Vonage we were able to ditch Qworst and their extortionary($90 long distance deposit when they are unable to provide LD service in the state.) practices.
You're right about most of your statements with one exeption. CLECs can own their own lines. I used to live in a small town that had a local telephone company that owned all the lines in the area. I couldn't get local service from the local Baby Bell(Bell Atlantic at the time.). Most CLECs do lease from the ILECs, but not all.
I find it amusing that this got moded as highly as it did. Did you even read more than the first question? Yes the manga market is going into decline, but they also stated that publishers in almost any other country would be dumbfounded by the sales and profitability of manga.
The main thrust of the article had nothing to do with profitability in foreign markets. The article was comparing manga popularity in Japan and comic popularity in the USA and what, if anything comic publishers could pick up from the manga publishers to improve their sales. If you compare the two, manga is orders of magnitude more popular and profitable in it's home market.
They look at Bnet as an incentive to have a valid copy of the game you're using on Bnet. Without a valid CD Key you'll only be able to play single player.
This is not a new browser, this is software that allows advertisers to manipulate already existing code to change how your browser looks. It'll definitely affect IE, and possibly Netscape 6. I'm not sure about Opera and if it does affect Mozilla I'd bet it's corrected quickly.
I've also got the same modem and prior to the switch to ATTBIs network I had no problem getting 6 megabit sustained transfers. Primarily from the newserver, but it stay a 6 megabits solid for hours.
On Saturday at least it wasn't because they were busy. There just wasn't anybody there. I work for AT&T Broadband in a different department and was talking to somebody in the telephony support department. Their managers came around to them that morning with a canned response for questions concerning the @Home problem. They were getting flooded with calls because they closed the internet support call center for the day.
Not true. Verizon offers in their Tier 3 ADSL package 680kb up, 7.1mb down. I've gotten 500KB transfers fairly regularly from certain high bandwidth sites , and I can regularly get 3 150KB+ connections going at once.
I've been working 4 10s for about 3 years now. I definitely prefer 2 on, 1 off, 2 on, 2 off. With that pattern you never really have a work week. You are always within 2 days of a day off. So even if for some reason I work and then have to do something or can't sleep, I still only have to make it through one shift until I have a day off to recover.
Gran Turismo 2 came out for the Playstation 1 sometime around last Christmas. He's refering to Gran Turismo 3(Which up until last week was called Gran Turismo 2000).
It's a good thing we're talking about D3 then. It's got a single player mode that requires no internet connection, the same as the first two.

Much cheaper than the Sony. I just bought a Pioneer A05 last week from mwave.com for $217 shipped. They have them under the Cendyne brand.

Best I can figure is that it's an obscure Tron reference. Ram was an actuarial program.

But none of the other engines have Google's PigeonRank technology. http://www.google.com/technology/pigeonrank.html
You said it exactly. It is easier. Definitely not better though.
Check under customize. It's a 15" Hitachi XSGA+.

Yup, you're capped at 128k up, 1.5Mb down.
