Jesus was most likely a real person. There is archaelogical evidence of the burial headstone of the brother of Jesus, James(?).

Research the history of Jesus and it's intersection with the topic "jesus in india".

Jesus seems to have been a hippy (independent thinker!) and much displeased with the status quo. To escape a pre-arranged marriage he ran away and hitchhiked to India. There, he became quite skilled in the yogic traditions of meditation, asana, spirituality, etc.

When he returned to middle-east and began sharing his new wisdom, the powers-that-be found the ideas threatening to the current power structure. And so Jesus was executed. End of story.

Ever notice much the main tenets of Christianity mirror those of evolved yogic thought and spirituality? Most religions are similar in their basic tenets (minus the differing "miracles") because people are the same all over the world.

Read "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Paramahansa Yogananda for superb insight in the similarities between all people. Much of history owes a great debt to India and Vedic thought.

  24. Re:These "Science" writers are IGNORANT! on The Feasibility of Star Wars Tech · · Score: 1

I slapped down some words in disgust and did not write a consistent reply.

A "plasma sword", a.k.a. lightsaber, would provide most known attributes we have observed.

    1. Can cut through most substances
    2. Cauterizes tissue when cutting

This does not explain how lightsabers can duel the same as mundane swords. If the plasma is shaped by an energy field, why would energy fields repel each other?

Perhaps each energy field has a unique frequency, energy strength, signature. Only fields with this identical quality can pass through each other. If two fields (two lightsabers) of differing signature touch, they will repel each other violently. Pick up some very stong magnets and try to press similar poles together. Something like that.

    Lightsaber

This would be a rod-shaped energy field that is emitted by the lightsaber base. To use my own current physics knowledge, I would fill it with a plasma.

This doesn't solve the aspect of lightsaber blades repelling each other, but it's close.
