    unless you mess with the posted speed and set it lower where the camera is at intentionally to make the camera more profitable. See the problem? When the camera can make money it will only be about the money.

    being watched 24/7 in public is not the US that people want to live in. There are better ways to fix public safety issues without draconian methods that are actually thinly disguised money making scams.

    if you want to live in a big brother country I would suggest china. They even do the thinking for you. The US does not need this kind of crap, especially when speeding cameras are only about money and not about safety.

    speeding cameras are really about making money and do little to increase public safety. How many times do people have to catch the read light cameras being intentially set with short yellows to figure that out (the yellow is changed short as many cameras operate at a loss if they don't) If the companies that make and operate them were forced to be a non-profit with the highest paid employee no more than $85k in total compensation I wonder how many people would be pushing them?

    people like to own things. Unless there is a really good trade people will opt to not put stuff on the cloud. Right now that trade appears to be it is free to use. I have a hard time seeing that changing any time soon no matter how many marketing people try to push it. It is a bad business model.

    Too bad you don't have a choice to buy it. The movie company is treating you like a Criminal, making you sit through FBI warnings, and is providing a product that may or may not work compared to the pirate version, which is what most people want.

    Actually for some it will be a wake-up call that DRM is extremely expensive for companies eroding their margins, does nothing to stop piracy, and most pirates are also their best Customers. If you look at companies like Valve that "get it" they have changed their business model to serve Customers rather than treat them like Criminals.

    it would be interesting if they did a study on how much more people buy when they are able to try it first. Anecdotal evidence of big media's best Customers are also the ones they are labeling pirates. I bet even if there was no internet they would not get many more sales from these Customers.
