unless you mess with the posted speed and set it lower where the camera is at intentionally to make the camera more profitable. See the problem? When the camera can make money it will only be about the money.
being watched 24/7 in public is not the US that people want to live in. There are better ways to fix public safety issues without draconian methods that are actually thinly disguised money making scams.
if you want to live in a big brother country I would suggest china. They even do the thinking for you. The US does not need this kind of crap, especially when speeding cameras are only about money and not about safety.
speeding cameras are really about making money and do little to increase public safety. How many times do people have to catch the read light cameras being intentially set with short yellows to figure that out (the yellow is changed short as many cameras operate at a loss if they don't) If the companies that make and operate them were forced to be a non-profit with the highest paid employee no more than $85k in total compensation I wonder how many people would be pushing them?
one of the first things cheney did when bush was elected the first time is get the regulation changed so that a backup was not required for off shore drilling.
if they skip every class and get good grades who cares? And if they don't go to class and fail that is even better as you learn the most from your failures. All this nanny state and big brother crap needs to end. The world is not fair, people need to learn how to deal with it.
people like to own things. Unless there is a really good trade people will opt to not put stuff on the cloud. Right now that trade appears to be it is free to use. I have a hard time seeing that changing any time soon no matter how many marketing people try to push it. It is a bad business model.
Too bad you don't have a choice to buy it. The movie company is treating you like a Criminal, making you sit through FBI warnings, and is providing a product that may or may not work compared to the pirate version, which is what most people want.
if the RIAA pays you on the same scale as they sue then they would tell you they were paying you $1 million while actually giving you $5. And that $5 would probably be copied.
Actually for some it will be a wake-up call that DRM is extremely expensive for companies eroding their margins, does nothing to stop piracy, and most pirates are also their best Customers. If you look at companies like Valve that "get it" they have changed their business model to serve Customers rather than treat them like Criminals.
better service? That is naivety or a blatant false statement.
The fact that they will not be charging less even though they are providing less service hits the nail on the head.
like cable/satellite tv. If you like getting screwed like those with cable/satellite tv then you will like a private corporation takeover of the internet.
it would be interesting if they did a study on how much more people buy when they are able to try it first. Anecdotal evidence of big media's best Customers are also the ones they are labeling pirates. I bet even if there was no internet they would not get many more sales from these Customers.
sorry, the current push for 3D movies is just more of the same fad that has come around again. Lots of people will not go see the movie in the theater if there is not a 2D version playing.
It even skips commercials without even needing a remote key press. Is it work to set up? Yes, but once you have one there is no going back. You are in control of what you watch.
When you buy a game part of the DRM process should be to finger print you and check your body cavity. Might as well go all the way at treating the Customer like a Criminal with DRM.

Think of the dogs!

I actually like Iron Man better than the Dark Knight.

that would be the most interesting part of this story.

I would say Apple is the Macintosh supplier of the mobile wars. (you would think they would learn the lesson once about being controlling)

For me the only rule if it is art is if it evokes an emotional response. Video games do that just as well as film or any other media.
ethanol is a scam and worse for the environment. It takes more energy to make ethanol than is saves.
if you are not going to really be using it, why not just uninstall it? Virus checkers are only effective if kept up to date.

and ask for the source code so you can see if it has bugs that would cause it to malfunction. Red light cameras need to be thrown away.

they are like people who hire illegals so they don't have to pay a fair wage and then complain about illegals.
