    Anyone else annoyed by partisan "pension boards" trying to throw their weight around by saying they'll do this or do that unless a company toes a PC line? As someone who would want to know my pension was there when I retired, I'd just want the Comptroller to STFU and make sure I got maximum return on my retirement dollars for minimal expenses.

    Why would they jump? If they can capture the market of people who want "games that work even if the Internet is down" and "games that don't glitch out if it's raining" and "games that work even if gamecompany takes the online version down" then that's a pretty big market.

    Back in the day middleware was software that translated one protocol or type of dataset into another. Basically it allowed two different systems to talk together...better. Sometimes it was two applications running on the same system, but in the enterprise world, it was often applications running on two different systems (so it often also integrated with queuing or other data transfer system).

    I did find the idea of calling a "device" something-"ware" kind of humorous. I really hope that doesn't catch on.

    Trump would never have been nominated if the typical Republican wasn't annoyed with Republicans. His relatively approval rating among Republicans is due in large part because Trump tweaked that party's establishment.

    Remember 2016 was the "mad as hell" election and still the Democrats ran the most establishment candidate possible. (If you're mad about Trump, blame the Clintons.)
