Put some money into their infrastructure to cope with the demand? Maybe stop overselling? Oh wait that would cost some dollars so forget that idea. Meanwhile, users on Verizon FIOS has reported to download over a terabyte worth of data a month without so much of a letter from Verizon. (who knows how long that lasts though)
They don't throttle anything and their infrastructure is built to be upgraded indefinitely. People have reported downloading terabytes of data and haven't even received a letter. This just might be for now because they don't want negative PR, but they haven't capped me once even after I switched from Comcast to Verizon DSL.
Paul- You oppose abortion. Would you enact legislation to counteract (or severely restrict) Roe v. Wade?
Paul is against abortion on the grounds that he believes the fetus is a human life and it would be a violation of its' rights to end it, not because the Bible says it's wrong or some other religious reason. The Libertarian Party itself is divided on the issue of whether or not the fetus is part of the mother or if it's a separate organism.
It doesn't matter. With a stock price of $0.40 and still falling (as of 9:49 AM EST) they'll soon be delisted from the Nasdaq and will go bust. No one believes their story anymore (like they shouldn't have in the first place) and no one really cares about them anymore.
Where's the big green farms in Trenton, NJ?
There is a dairy farm right by exit 2 off I-95 which happens to be minutes away from Trenton. Sure it's not in Trenton but no city houses a farm right in the middle of it.
but congress is even lower, and noone is actually doing anything about it.
Congress' approval is always low, however constituents for the most part view their individual representatives higher than they do Congress as a whole.
He is old, and he would be the oldest President if he won and he also supports the unpopular Iraq War. If Fred Thompson enters the race which is just a formality now, there will be no chance McCain will grab the Republican nomination.
First amendment limits what the Congress can do. Bill of rights doesn't apply to States, unless the state has a similar document.
Actually it very much does apply to the states, or try explaining how all those other anti-violent game laws were overturned in the courts because they were found unconstitutional in regards to the 1st amendment.
This argument is insane. I live in East Anglia (United Kingdom). 10,000 years ago it stretched right across to Europe. The north sea didn't exist. Mammoth roamed where the channel is today. Sea level has risen 300 feet since then and you are concerned about a rise of 1 or 2 meters over 100 years? Let me ask you a question:
It certainly is a problem to the people who live at the shoreline, it gives real food for though on why they are bothering to rebuild New Orleans.
It's okay, they will just do what they always do when countries around have price controls on medication, charge people in the US more than everyone else.
Because the Federal Government was not given the power to issue licenses, it's a state right. While the Federal government in this instance is not actually the one issuing these ID cards, they are pretty much forcing states to do it anyway, by not allowing citizens of states to travel without them. Plus it's a piss poor "security" measure that does absolutely nothing. It's not like the 9/11 terrorists didn't have proper identification.
Yeah it is that big of a deal, I still pay for that scheduled downtime and I can't play. Obviously there is no guarantee that the servers are going to have 100% uptime, but it's not like Blizzard suspends your paid time while they are doing maintenance. I'm usually home on a Tuesday and I can't play until after 2 PM. This change is great and I hope it works out.
It doesn't seem to work for me, the memory still isn't releasing. However when I set browser.cache.memory.enable and browser.cache.disk.enable to false it seems to release memory after the tab is closed. I found now adverse effects on browsing.
I enjoyed the game for awhile, but in the end it got real boring. End game is just large scale raids which after awhile I had no time for. The drop rates in the game are abysmally low, I had never seen an epic drop except on an MC raid, so getting quick money was an issue. GMs are little to no help except for warning you and lashing out the ban stick on people other than for-profit gold farmers.
I can't imagine this game has 5 million current subscribers. The game just gets too boring after awhile to hold a base that large.
I didn't insist it was falsified, I said it couldn't be falsified and shouldn't be taught in a science class for that reason, please try reading next time.
I wasn't being offensive, however the word liberal has become tainted in the US since the Reagan Administration. Real smart man Reagan was, lets cut taxes, but lets not cut spending.
MPAA isn't a good arguement to use

My only complaint was AT&T wouldn't allow my phone number to be ported to Verizon, therefore I have to keep the AT&T line for right now.
I believe you can complain to the FCC that AT&T is in violation of LNP rules
Yeah, we shouldn't judge based on motivations, but by actions. It's an open platform, why should I care why Nokia made it an open platform?

Since you'll probably be suing IBM good luck going against their patent portfolio.
Start litigating Microsoft, you're not working in the shareholder's favor by sitting idle and letting these blatant IP violations go unpunished.

Nintendo doesn't have to win the console war to stay afloat. Our of the major 3, they are the only ones who sell their console at a profit.
I will most likely buy Wii over an Xbox360 or a PS3. Nintendo has always come out with 1st rate games, and you can't get Zelda or Mario anywhere else.
GM's in the WOW sense are the server police. They are the ones that issue bans, suspensions, warnings, name changes etc.

Intelligent Design is not testible nor falsifiable and should not be taught in a science class, even if it were 100% true.

Libertarians are liberals, well anywhere else in the world except the US.
