I would definitely second the programming needs argument. Even the very act of getting up to go to the bathroom prevents one from falling asleep.
I donno about you, but I always program until I feel like I am about to explode, at which point I go bolting to the bathroom. Gets some funny looks, if people are still around or awake...
No, this would not work, because KVM extenders send actual signal information over the cat 5 they use-- not ethernet data recognizable by a switch.

Consumer activists, though, aren't amused. "It's deceptive," says Gary Ruskin, executive director of Commercial Alert, a nonprofit organization founded by consumer activist Ralph Nader, when told about the campaign. "People will be fooled into thinking this is honest buzz."
And you know how the general populace gets when they find out that they've been fed fake buzz....
It was the first linux I installed myself, and it was almost amazing that the thing worked. I was using version 6, which was pretty tolerable once it was working.
It was a RedHat derivitive, and the utilites sometimes randomly ceased to work. The package management accounted for dependencies, but was so intertwined that even little installs would become huge downloads quickly.
I stopped using it when the various Turbolinux RPM mirrors ceased to exist, and when it's version of RPM became outdated verses the rpm packages that were becoming predominant.
After using it, I switched to Slackware, which I still happily use. Turbolinux was just too annoying and lacking as far as a userbase and support base for me to stay with it.
The intent behind that post was humor, since China is the one that is really full of commies. The moderators seemed to lack the sense of my seeking, however.

Hm. Sure would suck to try to pee when they use "fade to black" transitions....

Hey! Katz posted a review! Let us skip the entire thing and berate the guy for existing!
C'mon ya'll, the tremendous amount of trolling related to every single one of Jon Katz' post gets old after a while. Let's quiet down and discuss content rather than execution.
The cell size can be signifcantly enlarged by using a high gain antenna. They are relatively inexpensive and can yield a one mile radius of coverage. This would still be spotty at 65mph, but it is a start.
High crap concentrations have been found on the internet, lending to the health risk associated with computers.
"There is so much bull here!" said Melvin Dixon, referring to the Republican website from his workstation, located in Manhattan. "At least with my toilet its human, and you can use Mr. Clean to help the situation!"
Now I can spray this stuff all over my body and never have to replace the batteries in my mp3 player ever again!
Also, it could bring a whole new light (so to speak) to sunbathing...
Imagine all the pasty white geeks hittin' the beaches once they commericalize this stuff...

I don't think security is *quite* as tight as they say.
Course, if A root where to go down, I wouldn't know the difference betweent that and the crappy windows DNS servers here....
Now instead of being like "Wow! This station is 1,200 miles away!" We can be like "Wow! The interference thats making this packetloss is coming from 1,200 miles away!"

I find with my Palm that often some of the custom conduits supplied with programs do not work with Linux.
I never would have suspected PalmOS was this scalable. I have a Palm Vx, which runs at a humble 16Mhz. (No, I am not anal enough to overclock it.) I use it to do wordprocessing and gaming (Tetris anyone?) but not much else. (I have a Palm keyboard for the wordprocessing.)
I guess I'm just surprized at the jump that Sony has made with this product. It is truely a breakthrough concept.
On an unrelated note, Palm's strong point is their portability. I can take notes for 5 different classes and carry them aronud in my pocket. Bet you can't find any other way to do/that/ in an organized manner....
So why doesn't CARP just give it up and rename themselves CRAP? Although the differences between the scum-sucking fish and raw human waste are negligible, with these kinds of rulings and recommendations, I think CRAP would more accurately represent the organization.
That was funny :). If I ever got a chance to moderate, you'd get +1 funny :)

And thats a darn good thing, cause Microsoft is full of commies.

... I'll finally be able to make sense of my perl code after I write it?

Those errors are telling you that your source code does not work correctly. That is what a compiler is supposed to do.

Good thing the Root Nameservers don't run on Windows.
