My phone (Cerizon VX6000) almost never works for me. Thats becuase service is very spotty where I live. You would think the answer would be "move to a city" well i already did. I live a mile away from downtown seattle. I live in an denseley populated neighborhood in seattle with no service through verizon. None of my neighbors have it either. I can only imagine what its like to live far away from a city where a company has no incentive to put up towers. As for me if i want to make a call i have to do it when im in downtown, there is only enough signal to send a txt msg before the line cuts out.
You think marketing departments need features to sell an product. Marketing's job is to sell regardless of what they are given by the programmers, they will hype up anything. Just becuase the retail box has a giant list of features doesn't mean the program is bloated.

Its becuasei play WoW all the time im on my computer. Why am i here typing this up right now then if i never read slashdot. Well becuase there is a que to connect the the server. Well time to go check to see if i can go back to my reality.
And what if the time you have set aside is longer than your wait in the que? What if you can only play a few minutes at a time, a few times a day. your screwed.
Ok here is what is happening on my server (kel'thuzad). The game has been getting so laggy it will freeze up during a battle and come back a few seconds later only to show you that your dead. Many important quests have been ruined for me and had to be re-done. If there is any major raid on a town the server bogs down.
During the peak hours of the day the lag is frequent and very difficult to deal with. Blizzard came up with a solution for this on saturday or sunday i dont remember exactly. To my surprise when i tried to log on i found myself waiting in a que. Blizzard significantly lowered to slots available on the server. Their idea is more quality for the select few instead of lag for everyone. I had an 25 minute wait untill i was able to play. 25 minutes isn't so bad when i can just log onto slashdot and kill some time but its dissapointing. This was only the beggining of my que woes.
I triet to get on later to find myself in a que that said was 45 minutes long but i timed it and it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get on. This has become rediculous. There have been times when i want to get on and play for a few minutes before i have to go somewhere but i cant because i have to wait in line.
What are people suposed to do that are only able to play short periods of time at once? Overall i am very upset with Blizzard BUT the game is NOT un-playable. Despite all the frustration its a good game and works fine during the night and once i am finally in a server. My question is this; why dont they make it frickin' work? If WoW has sold over 600,00 copies then why isn;t it working? It is $15 a month with a $50 starting price. (600,000 * $15) + (600,000 * $50) = enough to buy their own god damn building full of servers.
