A simple Google search shows the existance of an Airbus A340-312, which is likley what this lazy reporter was reffering to. I agree with you about journalists though. It's a good day for them when they get 3 out of four 4 straight.
Yeah those games had some of the best music I've heard in quite a while. The composer who produced the soundtracks for Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross also produced the soundtracks for Xenogears and Xenosaga, so you might want to check those out too.

But when I set Opera to identify itself as IE the site worked just fine.
What does it's being a metal have to do with it?
Metal detectors only detect iron and iron derived alloys
like steel. According to the article "Liquidmetal" is
composed of titanium, copper, nickel, zirconium and beryllium. There's nothing here to set off a metal detector.
They haven't arrived here yet. As a life long East Texas resident and a professional aquarist I would have heard if some fool had introduced them here.
Being a diehard video game music fan I tried to find the soundtrack to an old saturn rpg called Albert Odyssey :
Legend of Eldean. I wouldn't have even known it existed if I hadn,t stumbled upon this site.
Of corse I did find the Breath of Fire 2 soundtrack and the Dragon Force 2 soundtrack there so maybe it will turn up some day
As others have said the Skull and Cross Bones can be mistaken by other cultures in the present and will likely lose it's meaning in the future. I think that a better sign would be a skull with a bullet hole in it. Even if this sign is read by a pretechnological culture they would recognise the the shape of the skull and that it was damaged. And since a damaged skull usually results in death the warning would be as clear as is possible
The problem with legislation like this is that it ignores the context of the depicted violence. Certain games like Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil, etc. depict violence almost devoid of any rational context. In other words violence for the sake of violence. Other games like Final Fantasy7, 8,9,etc. and Metal Gear Solid depict similar amounts and types of violence, but do so within a firm moral context. These games (and most other RPG's, action games, and strategy games for that matter) depict violence as a necessary means to right wrongs and defeat evil. Therefor such games actually reinforce moral values.
What's this nonsense about gun ownership being a privilege? I don't know what sick, backwards, socialist country you live in but gun ownership is a Right in America!

It makes me wonder how much more of this we'll see in the coming years. :)

This article at nature.com talks about insect hearing and sites several interesting examples.

Likely so -- it's metal.

I will be anonymous coward #45
Doesn't telling us that sorta defeat the point of going AC?
Still the idea of a place were people could meet anonymously has a certain appeal. Maybe these meetings could grow into something like that.

Kinda like these damn Japanese ladybugs up here that infest our house! Anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of them!?
Only thing I,ve found to work is a vacuum cleaner.

Incidents like this remind me why I do nearly all my
business in cash. Cash is and will always be more secure
than any electronic substitute.
As a life long RPG fan I think my list trumps everybodys.
Xenogears
Final Fantasy VII
Lunar2 Eternal Blue Complete
Front Mission 3
I cant speak for action games like GTA3, but most RPGs contain as much text and plot as a major novel.
I wasn't able to find the orignial theme, but I was able to find a cool remix
Yeah, I remember wasting 3 or 4 hours a day on this
interesting game when I was a kid. It's too bad my NES
dosn't work anymore.
