But who owns the copyright to each bit of code? I haven't looked at the source, but I assume the copyright would be granted to whatever body oversees linux. It would be a nightmare to maintain otherwise.
If you can't get a young police officer, kidnap a young police officer's young child and strap him to your neighbour's lawn. This will give the police someone to trust, and will also get you away from the house for a few years.
Without the use of jumping/climbing/etc, how often do you travel in 3d in your daily life? Airplanes use "2d" controls. Cars use "2d" controls. In a game, if I have keys to jump, crouch, walk sideways, and climb I am happy. Control stick for walking and one for aiming/turning and I am really happy.
Then again, I might be biased, I didn't really start playing video games until 2000 or 2001. Ahhh, Half-Life 1 and BZFlag...
Me neither. Far's a long way. Sure, I could take a bus, but on the Greyhound site it said it would be about $200! Maybe that includes accomidation for the night or something. But why go to Far when the main tourist attraction is some stupid Saturday farmer's market? Count me out.
The best I can see in the energy as such is that some processes can be done in bulk, which reduces overall polution for that process. However, I doubt that makes up for the amount of energy used.
Also, I doubt that any soil could take the pressures of the necessary corn production. Perhaps with a lot of crop rotation... but in the end, it seems like more effort should be focused on transportation methods such as batteries and hydrogen, and energy sources like wind, nuclear, and solar.
On SA, there is a column, "Art of Warcraft." Recently, one of the editors has been posing as a female character not only to get massive amounts of gold, but also for the simple pleasure of humiliating gamers.
Evolution is also a program, in a manner of speaking.
Assuming life evolved and was not created as such, is a tree art, or is it just beautiful to us humans?
According to broken windows economic theory (I think) it is a great boon to the economy, as spam filter makers suddenly realized there was a reason for their existance, and could make money off of being spam filter makers. I sort of have to wonder what those poor guys did before spam. So spam is useful.
Oh my, someone likes windows! I call for a search warrent so I can scour his house for astroturf recipts!
Knock it off. Sure, I don't like windows either, but it is there, it works, and some people do like it. Let the windows fans have their say, you might learn something.
And as everyone knows, electricity comes from the wall! I suppose it is true that burning mass amounts of coal/oil is more effient than the small amounts in cars, but it still takes energy. In my area, we are lucky to have cheap hydro electric power, which is relativly good (I know, land use, CO2 from the decaying plants dug up from the site, etc etc). Nuclear, wind, or solar would be nice.
And at least what is in the article is more efficient than the standard hummer.
Of course DX10 won't be on this linux. The poster was just saying that it won't have everything Vista will have, like the new DX, and can't be called a Vista-Killer because of that. Not everyone who complains about Linux is an astroturfer. Give us examples of "astroturfing" from said user, and maybe I will take you seriously. I haven't looked yet, as I am lazy.
I know, Sony has previously claimed that the ps2 would be a computer, but didn't bother. However, they had to pay the taxes anyway. I think they have more incentive as such to make it a general purpose computer. And if they don't, start a class action law suit to open the hardware, as it was bought on the condition that it would be a general purpose computer.

...as SCO stock jumps the shark. Seems appropriate, but when?
Bwoom Bwoom Bwoom Bwoom Bwoom Bwoom Bwoom Bwoom..... That would be some killer kick.

Actually, it wouldn't. Trust me.
I assume you have heard of NintenDogs?
Haven't you heard about NintendHos for the DS?

This is a Ronald article. Of course he is going to hype up whatever he is talking about.

Oh wait, wrong thread
I don't think it's going to be particularily visually interesting untill E11R6.
Either way, you have to admire my 1337 karma-whoring.
Anyway, yeah, sorta recent, I should say. More recent than Jeff K.
No.... I don't think we do.

See Part 1 and Part 2.
The PR guy was demoted. Microsoft put him in a box with a keyboard and called him "Vista Speech Recognition." See, such technology is in reach!
He's been drinking Hateraide .
Maybe I should stop reading Urban Dictionary.

Don't you mean a bike driving "n" library of congresses in CDs from Redmond to Somolia? It is pretty easy to get the two confused.
