In General, I really like the BulletTrain becasue it is heavy enought to not get knocked around, I like the Koopa's because of their shells, Toad for the shrooms, and Waluigi since he looks frickin' hee-lariuos. I also like the Bowmobile for the weight and speed, and the cadillac for better acceleration.
On the Star cup though I have to go with mid-weight since I need the extra control on the ice, but I haven't tried it with the BulletTrain yet.
Since we all like pretty graph pictures go over to:
http://networkviz.sourceforge.net/
and look at the packages out there. Many of these need help, so don't hesitate to offer your services if you like graphing.
Most of these would be able to view these internet graphs interactively, which would be far more exciting than just pictures.
Out of curiosity, have you ever gone traveling to collect "A few spotty memories, and slides and pictures to annoy your friends and family with." ? Betcha not. It is a very rewarding experience, and exciting too.
How often do you find yourself drunk on chinese whiskey in the middle of a desert trying to save your local drinking buddy( whom you met last night )'s brother from the chinese army?
I would say that I have had more real-world experiences that are more exciting ( albeit, usually while pissed ) experiences than anything that I have seen "experienced" in a video game.
I think not.
In my app I display about 1,000 genes. At any given time a user can right-click and open up a corresponding web-page. Does that mean that I want 1,000 windows? No. It means that the user should have the choice of getting 1,000 windows, or keeep using the same one, which you have postioned to be readable next to your app.
I am assuming in this situation, as should be obvious, that *you* are the customer, thus you can demand of some comapny to send you stuff in non-propietery format.
Well, I can't get it to compile:

Maybe because I am using RH9? I need to pass the --with-nptl flag?
Why? As soon as you switch over and someone sends you a MS Bastard-XML doc, send it back and request it in html or rtf. If they want to do business with you, then you shouldn't have to buy over-priced software.
This is innovation. Microsoft, from what I understand is planning a pay-for-it system where trusted means, that someone bought a liscence. IT will be interesting to see how well ms-trusted-apps stand up to a similar test.
The one problem is that I don't really like the ikonboard thing. It is always hard for me to find what I am looking for.
I think that a/. style page, with the Latest Reviews + Downloads, Area concert listings, or at least links, would work better.
Maybe ikonboard is a godd way to start though. If you ( Malic ) have experience setting an ikonboard up, or we can recruit someone, I will e-mail the SomaFM guys.
Some people call them "folders" or "directories". My now-stolen Sony car mp3 player could read the dir names and let me browse based on them. Of course there was no hierarchy, so Rock/Dylan, would simply be Dylan.
My favs:

So they do it in silico rather than in nevada
This is the best latin quote I have ever seen.
Go look at a modern police cruiser. You will see something very similar.....
Can anyone get cinerama tickets?

I'll call you on your Bilbo speech rip. ;)
Why isn't the knob turned to "11" ?
And no, its not your dial that's wrong.
Great Journey ref. Hopefully some mods find this one.
Actually he is poinitng out that Americans are on average dumber than 50% of the population.
I thought that Phoenix was an open-source database? or am I thinking of the wrong kinda of bird of fire?
Like what? Making an embedded browser in my app? That's a good idea and all, but why not use the existing technology?
Supposedly, if you are taking a REALLY big dump, it stimulates that prostate. So it should be possible to ejaculate from crapping.

This is the "Apple" part of /. FWIW.
I have yet to be able to open a complex postscipt file in either of these, and edit them like I do in Illustrator 8, on a PII.

Because it must be asked....

I have sigs turned off, which means this dude is pasting in his advertising every time. Very annoying.
In the UW bathrooms there is writing somewhere about this same "satin"
