I thought I had clicked on the wrong link at first. It is completely devoid of anything useful.
You could teach him not to touch your computer... Lot's of friends that have children and computer (or other things that kids need to be careful with) teach their kids not to mess with them. I recomend you to do the same.
You are right, I forgot to do that because my main idea was that stevesdigicams.com has good review with sample pictures you can use to camera several cameras. Thanks for the link
There is also a review in Steve Digicams. I like their reviews because they also include some sample pictures you can use to compare to other cameras (of course the pictures are taken of the same buildings, etc. but they differe in light available. The sample pictures are still good).

ok look at this picture. The girl in the left side with the with skirt has a tag that says says that she loves linux! It has 3 pictures of tux! oh wait... it seems it says "I love delta delta delta".... or is it?
You should outsource your support to another country so that everytime someone needs help, they can talk to a human being. Look, how amazing tech support is.
It was done on purpose. That way, most slashdot readers can understand what you are trying to say. Slashdot readers need the spelling errors. I guess you must be new here.:D
I might be wrong, but I think the "moon" is the name of the natural satallite that orbits the earth. Now, what is a satallite.. acording to the Merriam-Webster dictionary (online), it says:
Ok, I want to try one of the BSD's. Which one should I get? this FreeBSD? Or Which one would you recommend? Also, whre can I find some good documentation with the linux compatibility mode of the BSD's? I tried google, but I get too much crap in the first 20-30 results..
I didn't think about the problem of having to monitor if the software is working or not. Other than that I think these companies seem to be accepting the fact that nobody wants to pay high prices for software that is going to become obsolete in matter of months. At least that is the impression I got. Now that they realize that nobody want to pay, they need to find a better strategy of making money. First of all, subscription might be OK for a lot of non-geeks that do not care about their software not being theirs. They just want software that can help them with what ever they are doing.
Wouldn't a suscription method mean that we are going into the direction of a free software method in which we only pay for support and other related services?
do a search on google for Walmart customers and IQ and you will find that most of the results agree with me. Generaly Walmart customers are stupid.
I went to google and tried a search for "walmart customers and IQ." It didn't find any pages that suggest that walmart customers are stupid. At least that has has facts you can trust. There were 2 links that had other people say that Walmart customers are stupid. Unfortunately I do not believe them. Hell, I don't even know who they are and/or if they are researchers, professors, or any one doing some kind of study about the IQ's of walmart customers.
If what you are trying to say is that walmart customers in general have a lower education level. Then this could be debatable. But a lower education level is not the same as being stupid.
I guess you havnt been to a small town that has been taken over by Walmart?
What about it? Are you trying to say that Walmart actions make people stupid? Sure, I don't like walmart too much, but it doesn't mean that walmart customers are stupid. They go to walmart because it is cheap.
I don't know anything about BeOS. So can someone enlighten me why BeOS used to kick so much ass (supposedly) but it's not in production anymore? I read several posts in slashdot about it being really good so I want to know more about it...
not everything about the philosophy needs to be skiped. I think it's important to explain that it has a philosophy of "lots of small and specialized programs work better than one bloated program." For example in linux/unix lot's of programs are just really a frontend for several small programs that are very specialized. For example a program tu burn cd, might use cdrecord to burn, mpg123 to hear the mp3 files you have chosen, an encoder/decoder to convert it to a wav file, etc, etc. It's not one big program that tries to do everything.

so what's the point of using wxWidgets? I mean, if you are still going to use it only in windows, is it better than the native windows support?
the real question is.. why are you looking for David Hasselhoff stuff on edonkey? That is just disturbing...
