Artist impression of what? NASA hasn't detected the planet. It has detected the influence of the planet. Doesn't even have to be a planet. It could be a really heavy asteroid. Or a cloud of them. Or something entirely different. Maybe some stars just like to wobble.

I'm pretty sure it's just the Death Star

No it's not common practice. Any church that does anything like that or that "charges" you money by saying that it's for God is wrong and evil

I have a friend that got involved in a church that asked them for at least 10 dlls. every sunday. They also spy on him to see what he was doing everyday. The funny thing is that their leader was living in a huge house in California while most of the people going to that congregation were students that barely had any money to pay the 10 cover. Just for the record, I'm Baptist and go to church twice a week.

I would recommend you not to get the passwords and user names. I know you are not going to be using them to do anything harmful, but it is ilegal. Instead of doing that get one or two professors to back you up. If those in the IT department don't pay attention to you, you would have a professor that could talk to the dean or someone 'important' that would make ge the attention of the admins.

Ok. I was in class. My post was written poorly. Also, if you want to know, I'm a US citizen but I was not raised here in the US nor my first language is English. I moved to the US until my sophomore year in high school.
You want evidence? Let's put it this way. College level is very good at most universities here in the US. All the lower level education institutions are not in par with other countries. Some high schools and elementary schools are ok, but most of them are not.
All the 'technical' subjects are taught poorly. Jobs related to this subjects are the ones that are leaving the us also. So it's not only that it is cheaper, but also that companies can find well educated employees in other places like India. And even here in our own country there are a lot of foreigners working in tech industries. Foreigners fill many U.S. science posts
I was looking for a study that was made in several countries. In that study, the US was lower in most sciences than most of them some "third world" countries. I would recommend you to go to your closest public school. Talk to the teachers there and you will get to see how either the education is getting worst or we are just being left behind by other countries (in education). Education is the key for being number one (next to working hard).

and I might add that, in the US at least, the education is going down. Being one if not most powerful nation, we should not allow this to happen. We have too much to lose by doing so.

Likewise, if someone is going to commit a crime with a firearm he'll probably aquire that firearm illegally, or possibly possess it illegally (if he or she is a prior felon.) Yet people still support gun control legislation (or in some cases outright gun bans) do they not?

it's not the same. a better comparison IMHO would be gun conrols and getting a visa which is a permit to get into the country. Which is a good thing. So I think instead of making everyone feel like criminals by doing this, they should focus on a better way to check backgrounds, etc. when giving out visas. Also it would be a good thing to have very secure visas as to not have someone have their own fake visa.

Don't have any doubts.. I live in the border town of McAllen, TX (actually we are not really on theborder, but about 10 min. from it). Reynosa (which is the city on the Mexican side of the border) was losing a lot of works because the "maquiladoras" were leaving. Since about a year, maybe more maybe less, a lot of companies are coming back. Some cities on this side of the river, like Mcallen, Pharr, etc. are helping Reynosa, because lots of money comes also their way.
