Well, I'm guessing your a guy, but it's obvious (well maybe) that you haven't looked at the opposite side of things. How do you know that the men (in games) aren't attractive to women? I thought being physically fit made your more attractive (to most) women... I dunno, if it's just me, but you have to see the other side.

Yes, same here. I've been running Streamer for quite a while now, and it's UI is easier to use than Peercast by far. It takes less than 10sec to figure it out. (Just double click on a station's name and it will tune in and autolauch (you can turn this off) your player (i.e.: Winamp)
Streamer is being ported to linux as we speak. There may even be a preliminary beta for it soon.
And with Streamer, if you don't trust Iain (the programmer) enough, just compile your own version of Streamer.

"This film is going to be HUGE.. It just may get the North American public addicted to Japanese Anime"

Let's hope not, it'll just get hyped and marketed and then anime will be lost among the money where earlier it was about the love to detail and storyline, 90% of the americans don't have enough sense to truly understand this movie. They'll just go because it was on their pepsi can. It might even have effects in japan in the sense that the animators will become jaded and forget why they used to make these movies. Instead they'll want to make to next big hit. We made this mistake with music, I would hope that we've learned.

Well of course there's pirate radio on the internet :) And for everyone who doesn't have a T3 handy you can use Streamer P2P radio. It's a P2P program that makes it easy to broadcast, (and listen!) all you need is a DSP plugin like Oddsock and bandwidth greater than dial-up, but even with dial-up you can have a 24kbps stream which has decent quality. Unfortunately there isn't a linux port YET, but we're actively seeking some to do so. If anyone can help just drop by the forums.
