I dunno why people always think a fear of firearms is irrational, it is a device made for the sole purpose of killing or wounding a living creature, it does so in an instant with the twitch of a finger. couple that with the general fact that people are idiots (the geohashers in this case seemed to be the idiots, but it's a fair general rule to live by, unless proven otherwise: people are idiots.). I'm afraid of firearms, I'd rather they never be anywhere near me. I'm not one to advocate that they all be taken away either because unfortunately the cat is out of the bag there, people have guns and getting them away from criminals AND legitimate owners would be pretty much impossible now.
Anyways, yeah they overreacted to someone just having guns in their truck, but I don't think being afraid of or uncomfortable around guns is all that irrational.
You really even need to ask? E-Bay!
That or suck it up and just use a desktop tower, it'll take more room but give you much more flexibility on the cheap,
hey sure, and while we're randomly defining things to make stupid meme jokes, how about we define you as a goddamn idiot and therefor in soviet russia, you ARE THE JOKE!
probably because it would require expensive speakers, and would effectively obsolete the use of headphones on computers, but many decent soundcards and even onboard sound nowadays are offering an optical output jack for just what you've suggested, I use it myself to output to my home theater.
Have any links to evidence of traffic shaping from Bell/Sympatico? I use them (And while yes I've had a few problems with them, and definitely don't like their pricing) I've never noticed any real problems with bittorrent or other commonly shaped protocols (Other than my latency skyrocketing while uploading faster than 40kb/s, even when I do ACK Prioritization on my OpenBSD Router)
check out http://nodaddy.com/ for a few horror stories, Admittedly every business that gets past a certain size will have 'hate' sites against it, but yanking a domain name from Fyoder was a pretty bad idea:P
How about because they posted a full analysis including a demonstration with source code? Given a lot of stupid laws going into effect all over, I'd expect a lot more security researchers to remain anonymous, and as long as you're being anonymous who cares what your handle is?
Scarier than that, computer viruses have taken a drastic turn towards being used for nefarious means, greater than just trashing data, When the zombie revolution comes, they will be chanting "Buy... Viagraaaaa"
you said your self, year, not years, there is a difference, also vista has those effects, but KDE4 has them AND a 40% memory usage reduction, that's worth bragging about I think.
Odd's are, lots of people are applying for passports nowadays too, since apparently we Canadians need them to cross the border into americaland in the near future.
Holy cats, Does that every sound like a good way to become hated and possibly jobless, I've got to agree with other posters on here, Talk to the lead developer, consider rewriting the code first but bring it up with him before you commit it, don't go over his head, don't e-mail the boss and the bosses boss, that smacks of a lack of respect for the lead, and a lack of trust within the team.
Whats with all the gun people (I'll be nice and say people instead of nuts) making their first response to every situation "I'LL SHOOT THE BAD GUY!"? I thought that was a last resort? Whats so wrong with locking your bedroom door and waiting for the police to show up? Or just holding someone at gunpoint? It seems like everyone just wants to be a cowboy (Maybe there's another 10 responsible gun owners who just don't bother posting, but it seems all the vocal types are just itching for an excuse to blow someone away)
Most of those 'non-technical' people I've met don't know how the heck to get pictures off their phone, and wouldn't know where to start using a phone as a PDA, I'll admit I know at least one person who uses the mp3 player in his phone, but there are tons more who just use their ipod or whatever else.
Actually I was thinking about this, afaik Whedon said he wouldn't work with fox after Firefly, and I wouldn't doubt Minear would say the same after wonderfalls, But this sounds like Eliza Dushku is under contract with Fox, and co-created the idea with Joss, she he's in because of her, and I read an interview that makes it sound like Joss dragged in Minear, neither really wanted to take it to fox, but as long as Dushku is involved they can't take it anywhere else. (too bad)
I'll put a few bucks on 4 episodes, that seems to be the magic number, Worse is that Tim Minear is in on the project, he also does FANTASTIC work, but I swear fox has a hate on for the guy. Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive are all his work, and all cancelled less than halfway through their seasons.
Also, he's the boss, why not write it down on a permanent medium? who's going to chew him out over it?

I thought the reason they were there, was to discourage people from speeding anywhere because they wouldn't know where the speed traps were.

I like how they look, it's look functional and simple. what's so wrong with that?
hahaha, wow do you really think that would ever happen? That's cute ^_^
Sure, like /dev/null is the fastest place to write backups to.

Lots of drunk drivers don't cause problems, should we just let them drive around until they kill somebody?

I'm also pretty sure the NSA wouldn't pay list price when ordering 3,000,000 processors from Intel >_>

*sigh* the sad thing is, I half expected that to be signed "Luv, Timmy, 12th Grade" and would have accepted that just as easily.
