Ok, I suppose I need a lawyer to sort this out for me, For something like this, dont you need to prove Guilty Intent? Or is that for other types of law? I'd heard, (And this was in my Grade 11 law class mind you) That to be found guilty, someone had to make the decision to break a law, there are special considerations for either altered states of mind, But a guilty action, by accident, is not nearly held to the same degree of consequences as a guilty action by intent?
Anyways, someone setting me clear on this would be nice,
I think the point is, that information is processed by the computer, before being sent out over the network, The keylogger captures that data before it ever gets encrypted, or transmitted.
Here's the problem, as articulate and intelligent of a speaker you may be, and as brilliant your arguement, there is ALWAYS an asshole who will not listen to reason, that's life, I've come to realize this of late, as I'm working in a call center, (I'm only 18:P) doing tech support, people will call up, and demand we help them, no matter how clearly we explain that either an issue is out of warranty, in the case of spyware, or virii, or in some cases that the customer is out of warranty entirely, some people still get angry or just flat out arrogant and ignorant, and demand you support them, at a call center we can just hang up on them, which our supervizors have authorized us to do if a person is being unreasonable, unfortuantly, face to face, you cant just disconnect from whoever's being an asshole, it's a truth, a fact of life, some people are just ignorant, some people are jerks, some people are unreasonable. while it may not be our right to decide what someone can and cant do, if for example, I am the only person to feel this way, then those who feel it's fine to walk over other peoples rights will bend me over the table, (so to speak... I hope), it's one thing to respect others rights, it's another to stand up for your own, some people need to be told to shut up. if their rights are infringing on your rights, then you need to let them know, if they are unreasonable, you need to do something about it, letting ignorance and arrogance win is a path to failure of the human race in general.

Try there, She's got some tips in her FAQ, and she's actually kind of a geek, her site is suprisingly interesting, certainly not what I expected from a pornstar's homepage, (ie, any others I've seen *cough* just try to sell you crap, her's is actually an interesting read)
Because, 90% of users are morons, and would just complain about the keyboard they got, with all the key's that are useless (not that they'd have used the key's anyways, but now they LOOK useless)
Hahahahahahaha, Are you kidding? wheres the money in that? what self respecting video company, would sell you one big DVD with everything, when they could sell you 30 DVD's with everything, a ton of packaging, "Bonus Deals" and useless special features?
I think you misunderstand, This is talking about RAM and CPU Cache memory, not harddrive, And I dont think one program, can modify anothers NX space, if a program can modify the NX space at all,
"We want a system that can generate a variety of effects on the battlefield, from damaging something to totally destroying it, to just kind of harassing with it,"
Wow, Such noble goals, It's good to know the military wants to be able to "Just kind of Harass" opponents sometimes, Here I was thinking the military was usually called in when lethal force was required,
A few things: 1. DVD-/+RW drives, dont need to spin the discs as fast, they can read more data, even spinning at slower speeds, due to how the data is compacted on the surface of the disc.
2. Multiple heads and tracks have already been discussed in many a "look a new harddrive" thread, all ended the same, it's too hard (ie. expensive) to syncronize the writing, you could not get coherent data, unless maybe you wanted to consider it as disc partitions, you can have 4gig here, and 4 gig here, but no 8gig files.
3. If you're looking for fast, large mass storage, and dont care if other drives can read them, get a tape drive, until then, backwards compatability is important, I can get a 16x DVD drive for around $30 CAD, it can read (At least) DVD-9's, if changing to a four head writer means all existing DVD drives and DVD Players are obsolete, it's not gonna happen, especially since a 4x head writer would probably cost five times as much (no, not 4x as much) as a regular one.
4. Whats the big hurry to write DVD's?! thats a pantload of data, take the time and do it right! seriously though, knowing it's going to take a 1/2 hour to an hour to burn a CD (or dvd, I'm going by past experience here though) has made me consider much more carefully what data goes on, as opposed to "andddddddd DONE... oh... SH!T, I forgot this one".
Right, so how about all the open source projects which state: We arent responsible for this, it's a work in progress, etc. etc. and otherwise,
open source projects have the same disclaimers as EULA's, what would happen if these Open Source projects which have little or no income, start getting sued for liability issues, while largers company's can afford the lawsuits.
Is there any reason (apart from maybe lack of sales - but that's probably due to the price) why tape backup is not cheaper? I mean, one 40/80 DLT tape has about the same price as an 80GB hard disk. And it's simply a roll of magnetic tape. And the tape drives are simply so expensive that it's ridiculous.
Uhhh.. yeah, tapes have a shelf life of like, 100+ years, guaranteed.
Right, but this is a loaded question:
Magazine: "Is Windows over priced and is Linux a threat?"
The two combined questions may have different answers, it's not fair to jam such radical questions together, if you do so, expect an indirect answer, as the interviewee clumsily attempts to split them up, then answer them individually.
First off, Nothing is as anonymous as cash,
Though money can be tracked by S/N, Cards would be so much easier to track, and if they werent, than they'd be easier to counterfit than cash.
And as for coins? It's bad enough when the couch eats 35 cents in change after you lie back to enjoy a movie, How bout if the couch ate $35? That'd be no fun, same issue to, Dimes etc. arent that hard to counterfit, the question is, why?, If coins were worth more, there would just be a bigger interesting in counterfitting coins.
Yeah, but thats only if you think of an Author as an artist, or someone not so concerned about money, (The way, I think, An author should be).
If you think of them as a Business person, trying to make a couple more dollars on their product, you cant blame them specifically, just our culture, which makes it OK, and even encouragable to cash in on ANYTHING, now matter how sacred it once was.
Whats with the default config for the kernel, it's not blank, it's a specific setup that looks like it's for a P4 with a specific network card and chipset, shouldnt the kernel config be bare?
this is referring to source downloaded directly from kernel.org,
