With today's GFX accelerators, you'd think they could take all that old hardware (data gloves, dual-screen headsets) and pump all the latest graphics through in 'true' 3D.
Your mouth's moving, Jayne. Might want to check into that.
If the movie doesn't do well, then there's no hope for the sequels. If it does do well, there's a chance that Universal might want two more films, and might be interested in bringing back the tv series.
So be prepared to accept a little bit of departure, if it happens. It's for the greater good.
As a thin client administrator for multiple thin client installations (in several towns), I concur with your points.
However, one always needs to keep in mind the fact that having a single server control multiple PCs means that the failure point is concentrated and can wreak havoc when something goes wrong.
Of course, since the failure point is somewhat obvious, people usually clue in and accomodate for it.
What if you donated a few hundred PDAs pre-stocked with videos (not language bound, if at all possible) on topics such as well-building, agriculture, 'health', child rearing... solar powered, of course...
... and the cat gets stuck bouncing through time in other people's bodies, until it finally lands a dreary part in a sad series based on a humdrum spinoff premise?
With a horrible theme song that sounds like someone strangling Scott Bakula?
It's Backwards Universe! Where all cats are Scott Backula, and all Jonathan Archers are Cats!
... yeah, because then they'd never be able to dock their USB key from 50 million miles away... no flash upgrades for you, jose!
On the other hand, if they made the USB key bootable and had the BIOS configured properly, they could (assuming the trajectory was precise enough;-)) just plug it in and have something do a reset to boot from it...
Definitely a good read for anyone who has recently sat on their USB thumbdrive!
Shouldn't that be called a "Bumdrive" now?
In all seriousness, though, I've been trying to find reviews on the Creative Labs MuVo TX FM 1GB. I'm very interested in getting one, but I want to hear if anyone's encountered issues with it. Tom's Hardware had a glowing review of the MuVo TX (non-FM), and their only gripe seemed to be the lack of an FM radio.
Anyone here own one? Seen a review? Heck, *written* a review? Link me please:)
You know, while I was watching the movie "I Heart Huckabees", it struck me as being VERY Dirk Gently-esque.
Or Jay Mohr.
So you'd look like Prince Charles?

I'm guessing that he's a weapon from the same project (or a similar one) that River was ... so the bullet may not phase him.
:)
Personally, though, I'm rooting for point number one of your list.

Except me. I'm a dumb-dumb.

You know, "metrosexual" is just a new term to replace "fop" and "dandy".
Dude. That's dark.
He was kind of a dick in Jersey Girl, but then, I gather that's what the character was supposed to be.

You can netsend with Samba, you know :)
So, er, you make an effort to buy everything in cash, eh? Because otherwise, every cent you spend is being tracked.
this sounds like a job for ... Hedonism Bot!
Colonization was done by companies. I know this because PBS told me via the medium of Reality Television, aka Colonial House. :)

... they said it would use ion thrusters, would those be using Xenon by any chance?
... stuck pixels ... stuck pullcords ... one's more impactful than the other. I'm not sure which.
"Tide with Bleach gives it the highest rating - KICK ASS!" :)
Heh, I think that should be a standard benchmark for media longevity :)

Sounds like you should've got the Apacer AV220, with the Creative MuVo TX-style detachable thumb key.
Of course, when you say "keychain", I'm thinking carkeys/housekeys. Is that correct?
What model of car radio is that? I need to upgrade my car radio, and I never new that ones with USB ports existed! :) Can it play CDs too?
:)
I'm thinking of getting a Creative NuVo TX FM 1GB, it would be pretty cool to be able to click it in place for long trips
Uhm, my girlfriend is a programmer. Nyah-nyah.
