You've fallen for their con. Don't blame yourself, most other people have too. Obama isn't about change, Obama is the candidate the Democratic Party had been grooming for years to appeal to rubes like you. Just look, he's from Chicago, one of the most corrupt places in the US. Never worked a real job in his life—he's always been a part of the political establishment. If you don't pay attention, real attention, to what's happening in the world and just rely on the narratives that The Big Six media conglomerates feed you (whether it's Fox's slurry of jingoist, hawktastic nonsense, or MSNBC's insufferable, Orwellian Progressive drivel) you're going to continue getting screwed.
Unfortunately this TEAM RED vs TEAM BLUE shit is at the core of the problem. If you keep voting for the establishment (and Obama is establishment like no other), you're going to continue getting more of the same. If you want change you have to pick somebody outside of that establishment. Whether that's someone like Ron Paul, Gary Johnson or Dennis Kucinich it has to be somebody who doesn't represent the political class. The political class that's been slowly taking over America for the past 50 years.
Because the OMAP35x series is a catalog part sold to hobby projects and the like. It's not intended for use by handset manyfacturers and is missing some of the features they need (it's also a larger package than the OMAP34x which leaves less room for your other parts). You'd be better asking why they're not using the OMAP36x (45nm version of the OMAP34x).
Coming to you from an N900, by the way, which is almost certain to kick this thing's ass.;)
What can be done under Qt that can't be done under GTK? Is Qt more efficient in some way? What are advantages of Qt over GTK? I've never been clear on the differences... I just know they are different.
Simple, Nokia is trying to build an ecosystem that will allow developers to deploy their software across several different platforms using only one toolkit (Qt). Since Qt will be available on both Maemo and S60.
The Tegra is an odd one to pick if you want to talk about cool things happening in ARM development considering it A. Hasn't shipped unit 1 and B. Is actually behind the other high-performance ARM SoCs on the market like TI's OMAP3 line, Qualcomm's Snapdragon and Freescale's i.MX5 series.
If we want to talk about cool, unreleased things, though, TI's OMAP36x and OMAP4 SoCs blow the Tegra clear out of the water.
Have you looked at purchasing a used Nokia 770 from ebay or somewhere similar? They're going regularly for under $100 these days. The screens are excellent to read on, battery life is decent, and the size is right. The hardcover means they're pretty damn durable, too.
The N800 isn't any slower than the N810 the specs are identical to the N810 minus the improved screen, built-in GPS (bluetooth GPS units are still better quality), and the keyboard. The N800 will be getting a MHz boost up to 400MHz (from 330MHz now) with the release of OS2008 (much like the PSP firmware upgrade). Plus, it still has dual-SDHC card slots (versus the 2GB of internal that's taken up mostly by map data and the single MicroSD card slot on the N810).
Overall, the N800 is a much better deal than the N810 at around $230USD from buy.com. We just have to wait for OS2008 mid-November.
Mostly poor programming on Nokia's part. The ARM processor that it uses actually has hardware video decoding built-in, but Nokia hasn't provided a way to access it so far. The latest firmware update did have a big bump in performance 600x360 MPEG-4 @ about 1200Kbps total works perfectly for me.
As much malice behind this remark as there probably was, it certainly made me laugh. Why do you never have mod points when you actually want to use them?
Who the hell actually plays Second Life? I seed tons of stories on/. and digg about it, but out of all the incredibly geeky people I know, none of them plays Second Life (or at least they wont admit to it).
Or just let the market forces work it out. When it becomes reasonably compelling to replace incandescent with fluorescent, people will do it. Until that point, why screw with it with legislation? It's not like fluorescent or incandescent is a decision that will decide the fate of the planet.
Either the 20' tall 2"x4" trebuchet that I built with some friends over the summer or the "crane" device we built out of 4" PVC (about 8' tall) to bring all the desks in the school up onto the roof of the gym for our senior prank. Trebuchet probably pulls out the win simply for the flaming, explosive tennis ball potential.
No, Democrats and Republicans are the same. Republicans just lie to you about being conservative, then spend like the Democrats, while Democrats tell you exactly what they're going to do (tax the hell out of everybody and then spend it all). Both parties shit and piss all over the Constitution, and the members of both parties should be shot for treason.
My Macroeconomics professor at Florida State records all of his lectures along with a screencast that shows the PowerPoint presentation, movies, websites, etc. he show during the class synced with the audio. Does it for every lecture (all sections), and for every class that he teaches. All for free, and up on the web (FSU uses Blackboard) around 9:00PM on the day of the lecture.
Pick up some Ronson lighter fluid (accept no substitutes! It has to contain naphtha) at your local drug store and put some on a paper towel and just rub the remaining adhesive off. It works well on any non-porous surface. I used to work at a used book shop and we used this stuff to get off just about any sticker imaginable, even those crazy big stickers some universities slap on their used books.

Good luck!
Where have literacy rates been trending since the Department of Education opened in 1980? Oh, right, DOWN!
This plus one thousand.
The two-party farce has well and truly done us in

So in your fantasy world, the penalty for shoplifting would be to ask the criminal to pay for the items he stole?
So in your fantasy world, where are the magical non-items you believe were stolen from the RIAA?
Copyright infringement is not the same thing as property theft.

(iPhone has it at 400-416MHz, the Palm Pre has a Cortex A8 at 667MHz)
The OMAP3430 is 600MHz, actually (unless Palm is getting some sort of speed-sorted model, which I've not heard anything about).
Or, how about something that's actually being used in devices that are on the market right now (and isn't using an old, slow ARM11)?
No it doesn't. The Das Keyboard has Alps switches (which are noticeably inferior to buckling spring).

Clearly, friend, you've failed in your attempts to stretch your sphincter as wide as the goatse.cx gentleman and are lashing out at us because of it.

Sure as hell takes any fun out of the experience, though.

Not as far as I can tell, they're hosted on FSU servers and seem to require login information.

It's available to any FSU student, whether they're in the class or not.
