There are a few (such as pig) that people eat today, but perhaps the modern farm-raised pigs of today are different from the wild pigs of Biblical times.
No pigs are the same now as they were then, in fact pigs then may well of been healthier because they wont of been intensively farmed. What IS different is our knowledge of bacteria, if your a religious leader trying your best to help your people life a healthy, happy and successful life several thousand years ago a pig (that rolls around in mud) probably doesn't seem healthy. It just made sense.

I think it's ready for my desktop and has been for 2 years. Should longhorn knock the socks off of linux I'll switch to it. It's a tool, if it works use it, if it doesnt work shut up and find something that does. [/flame]

It my be the second most common element in the universe but we have a hard time getting it. Helium is mined from limited reserves and like fossil fuels takes millions of years to be produced. For this to actually be reusable (for years to come) it has to use vacuum, or dare I say it, hydrogen. Hydrogen is easy to get hold off and only dangerous when mixed with oxygen. It also has much better lift. But I suppose I shouldn't complain when someone puts forward an idea for clean flight AND gets some attention.
