    Except in Ohio, Indian Reservations in the Southwest, and probably some other places we don't know about yet.

    The chances of a (potential) customer being put off by someone *not* having piercings or tattoos are much less than of them being put off by someone who does, so the employee without them is going to be acceptable to a much larger set of (potential) customers.

    If that stuff was sent to you via the U.S. Postal Service you should contact the local Postal Inspector. They're actual federal law enforcement officers, just like the FBI and Secret Service, and they love to catch people using the mail to break the law, any law.
