    I had a PC version of Dagon's Lair I picked up around 1995 - seemed almost identical to the arcade one.

    Don't like QWERTY? use a Dvorak layout one then - alot of people like how that is setup more, thought it takes a bit to get used to if you've never used one

    The thing I found odd was back when I used to use Mavis Beacon or The Typing of the Damned (by far the most enterainting typing turor ever) I usually only got around 40-45 wpm - but I just did the Typing test one and got 59 with 100% accuracy

    dont forget it also didnt live up to expectations because every German in the game spoke English in every scene. That just never seemed right since wolf3d had them all speaking German

    Misnc was done by Jim Cummings - he also did Gorion, Mulahey, and Tazok in Baldur's gate. He's done a huge amount of voice acting in his career.

    I dropped by their place in Syracuse a long time ago and at the time they allowed you to drop by as an individual - and only thing they charged you for was recyling old or non working monitors. I dropped off a few old Sun 16" ones since I run everything through the console and had no use for them.

    try downloading dosbox and playing it in that. It allows you to speed up and slow down the cpu speed so you can play most older games. Its brought tons of my old games back to life.

    In Canada and Eudope, you pay more, but if you're hit by a bus you'll go to hospital and get treated, not stuck in a waiting room until someone can fax through a copy of your medical insurance documentation (if you have any, otherwise they just wheel you round by the dumpsters and leave you with a newspaper).

    Most states in the US have some form of indigent care coverage where a person who got hit by a bus or other serious injury would be admitted and stablized/treated and then sort out the paperwork afterwards.

    It is worth noting most indigent care is usually paid for my none other than a tax on everyone else's hospital bill

    I've never heard or seen anything that stated their muscle are mostly scar tissue. On a side note, a large percent of bodybuilders have powerlifting backgrounds, they just work on getting leaner for bodybuilding (i.e. Ronnie Coleman) - and as for champion weightlifters, Mariusz Pudzianowski (2002 & 2003 World's Strongest Man) defintely doesnt look like what you describe

    Given, they really couldn't test the 1019 card

    Theres been 3rd party 1019 cards on the market for a long time, so they aren't anything new. Just now there is an 'official' Nintendo 1019 block card. 3rd party 2038 block cards have even been out for a long time

    Cable is limited to about 30 Mbps, and that's *shared* with your whole neigborhood.

    Its shared about as much as a CO is so stop using that worthless argument. There is alot more bandwidth that 30 Mbps, how else would they run digital cable and movies on demand. You think they use seperate networks? No, most of them have lots of Cisco 7246 ubrs and usually a big Fiber pipe between each of them.

    I caught when I saw it because one of my professors in college joked about the fun they would have with SNOBOL programs. Apparently, almost anything you wrote would compile, so once they finished their projects and compiled them, they would shuffle up the punchcards and then recompile that as well and take bets on what they thought it would do.

    microsoft does use network booting, just to a very limited extent. you can use network booting to install the OS if you have a 2k/2k3 server running their remote installation services.

    It took me a long time (almost 6 months), but I first beat that game using all 4 countries to conquer the world then 'let' one country beat the other three. A month later, I managed to do it all with one country (Byzentine) - I would still concur that is one of the hardest games I have ever played

    Could be the same as with Icewind Dale 2 - who says the sequel uswa the same characters. Baldur's Gate is a still a town in the game - could have #3 revolve around something different that the previous ones starting over with a new character.

    I miss that game, it was more humerous than shocking though, I mean you could get artistic expression bonuses and stuff
