i don't know what you're on about, but i listen to music because i like music, not because as a blubbering fanboy i want to be herded into a stadium full of likeminded sheep.
"This is why you and I do something else for a living. We know shit as it relates to politics. Say it with me. IANAP. I Am Not A Politician."
so us common folks should just stay out of the political game altogether? we shouldn't have opinions about politicians, and hell, let's all stop voting while we're at it. career politicians do a fine job governing this country, and if we question their wisdom, it's only out of a sort of working class ignorance, right?
god hasn't been disproved. perhaps s/he just doesn't follow orders, which would make sense for a deity.
for the record, i don't believe in god, but this definitely doesn't 'disprove' the existance of god, because that is as impossible as proving god exists.
"Personally, I take prayer from a very sociological and psychological viewpoint. It provides some form of hope to people who feel otherwise helpless. It gives them the opportunity to feel that they can do something, anything to change what they feel needs to be changed."
yes, but there are more effective alternatives. what if instead of praying, a person actually went out and tried to change things for the better? i agree about the psychological benefit of prayer, but i definitely think a person could in most cases put the energy and time to better use.
indeed. the argument needs to stop being made that 'violent video games don't influence children', and the arguments for increased, positive parental involvement, and the formation of a society which itself doesn't reward violence need to be made.
you're going to have to pay for that unless you live in a country in which the companies in charge of the USA have interest in seeing a 'regime change'.
his religion wouldn't matter if he didn't make it an issue constantly, this man actually asks world leaders he meets to pray with him. i have no problem with christians, but the process of deciding public policy shouldn't involve clasping your hands and looking to the heavens and waiting for a divine voice to guide you. this argument isn't even taking into account how shitty a job he does, either, just the way he goes about doing a shitty job.

that doesn't mean microsoft doesn't generate a hell of a lot of revenue from them in the form of licensing and, if it's through WMP, advertising.

maybe not- but they could break HL2 with it.
if they can't lift any good fingerprints from the crime scene, they should be on the lookout for a guy sporting a powerglove. it's so bad.

george carlin's been saying this for years.
without even considering that you're becoming a walking advertisement, if you are willing to pay $150US for a freaking bikini you should be shot.
if james bond were into wardriving, he could forget about bedding any more Bond girls.
