Powell has a nifty little box that looks like it has everything you would need. I'm not sure how much they would be, but since it's socket 370 I can't imagine it would be a lot. The motherboard is Intel designed and has 3 ethernet ports, 3 ide controllers, 1 PCI slot, and 2 USB ports.
I have the same motherboad and had no problems getting Linux installed on it. Right now I have a P3-800 running and it works fine. The great part is the power supply is an external brick, so you could probably put in a Via C3 to make it completely fanless. I think the PSU is something like 70W, with a Celeron and 2 drives the consumption would probably be less than half that.
From what I've read, even with the.13 die on the Athlon XP, they won't be able to clock it much above 2.5 GHz. And supposedly AMD is hoping to have sales of 60% Hammer, 40% Athlon XP by Q3-03, so does that mean they're going to take a whopping in the high end market or do they have a.09 Athlon XP up their sleeves?
Damn, looks like it's going to be console only- Xbox, Gamecube, and PS2. From what I gather, the people who are Futurama fans seem like they are much more likely to play computer games, so wouldn't it make more sense to release it for the PC?
I thought you knew what you were talking about, but apparently you don't.
The constitution does not guarantee the right to the pursuit of happiness, or even mention it for that matter.
The document you are thinking of is probably the declaration of independence, which enumerates the unalienable rights endowed by our creator. One of these rights happens to be the pursuit of happiness.
But, this document makes no guarantees about that right. It merely goes on to say that governments are instituted to secure these rights and uses that to further the argument against the king.
Wouldn't it be great if Billy G. decided to get in on the action and raise the bar a bit- specifically, add an on-board weapon system. Turn it into a true battle of the billionaires!
If you are innocent, then you have nothing to hide and should therefore have no reason object to the authorities listening in to your conversations, right?
Unfortunately some people hold that belief that you have no reason to object to government surveillance as long as aren't breaking the law. I, on the other hand, believe that privacy should not be thrown aside in the quest for information.
Most of the major retailers seem to raise their prices for the back-to-school rush of buying computers. If you have to have it soon, at least wait until mid-October.
But computers are considered an "immature" technology, so it's a safe assumption that you WILL save money if you hold out as long as you can until you buy. The prices aren't going anywhere but down.
This has already been mentioned in a bug report on sourceforge. Doesn't look like it's going to be fixed any time soon, but you're probably more than welcome to draw your own and submit it.
Hint: you don't have to go to a private school to get a good education.

It is official -- use.perl is now confirming: The Perl Journal is dying
One more crippling bombshell crushed the already beleaguered Perl community when Slashdot confirmed that the Perl Journal market share has dropped yet again, now down to less than a fraction of 1 percent of original ciculation. Coming on the heels of a recent use.perl survey which plainly states that The Perl Journal has lost more market share, this news serves to reinforce what we've known all along. The Perl Journal is collapsing in complete disarray, as fittingly exemplified by falling dead last in recent tests.
You don't need to be a Randal L. Schwartz to predict The Perl Journal's future. The hand writing is on the wall: The Perl Journal faces a bleak future. In fact there won't be any future at all for The Perl Journal because The Perl Journal is dying. Things are looking very bad for The Perl Journal. As many of us are already aware, The Perl Journal continues to lose market share. Red ink flows like a river of blood.
Let's keep to the facts and look at the numbers.
All major surveys show that The Perl Journal has steadily declined in market share. The Perl Journal is very sick and its long term survival prospects are very dim. If The Perl Journal is to survive at all it will be among Perl dilettante dabblers. The Linux Journal continues to decay. Nothing short of a miracle could save it at this point in time. For all practical purposes, The Perl Journal is dead.
it tends to be the basic required courses for transfer to csu's and uc's that are the most depressing (psych 1, ewrt 1, etc.). the hard science classes are a little better, but once you get to upper level math classes (most/many of the cc's offer 6 quarters/4 semesters of calc classes) it gets a lot better.
At $1,748 for a Dell Dimension 4500 with a 2.4Ghz Pentium 4, 512MB RAM, and 80GB HD and $3,335 for a Powermac G4 Dual 1Ghz w/512MB RAM and 80GB HD, the Dell is only 47% cheaper than the Mac.
So Apple is exaggerating, their system is only 47% faster... at burning a hole in your wallet.
I would have gone (San Jose, CA area) but I'm pretty sure there were no attractive women (or women at all:-/). If anyone can prove otherwise, I'll go to the next one.
I'll offer you one better. I'll sell you a sack of shit for $29. That's a much better deal than the $1000 Verisign charges and even the $49 Comodo charges.
Just because it's cheaper doesn't mean its a better deal. Reliability, trust, and market penetration should all come into play. Pay attention to what you're getting.

Or we could just say, "Fuck it, let's by another season of Farscape!"
It looks like there isn't going to be a season five unless somebody dumps some serious money into it.
I'm capturing it at 15Mbit MPEG2, so whoever wants it w/commercials cut out can offer me a favor or two...

It can't possibly be two in a row, can it?

You wouldn't happen to mean ternary and quaternary caches, would you?

Muslims do not wear turbans out of their home country.
And of course we all know, there is no possible way Canada could be a Muslim's home country.

Having MSNBC filter the AP and Reuters makes as much sense as a shit filter connected to your ass.

Replace "professors" with "parents" and see if that still makes sense to you.
Quit acting like a Republican and telling me to stay away from the government.

+1 Insightful!
