    A quick site would less likely require javascript to be enabled. Besides, Why would someone NEED javascript to fill out a simple online form?

    If this is the case, then couldnt IE be considered (or should be considered) the standard? I mean shouldnt standards be based on majority? Why does one company get to write the standards? It should be a community that does this.

    amen to this... I'm with him. I HATE writing webpages that work both in IE and Mozilla. takes 25% or more code to get the same effect in IE as it does in Firefox.

    What browser you using because i get no flicker at all using firefox 1.0.4 even with my PCI Matrox G450 video card.

    Again.. when it comes to the ocean.. one single nuke isn't going to do anything but kill a lot of fish. This past 9.0 quake was equal to 100 million nukes.

    After reading all this I still don't see any reason to call it "abuse". Why not say it was takin down due to a /. article and to take bandwith cost and try back later?

    Its not like slashdot said "hey lets post an article and on this project and links to it to bring down the server and rack up bandwith cost for the person!"

    Although reading the iTunesDB is kind of slow.. its no 10 minutes, at least not for me. Takes maybe 3 minutes to read 3500 songs from the iTunesDB. Other then that its rather fast (if you have USB 2.0) and I have never had a problem. I feel it lacks a few options such as support for ID3v2 (or extended ID3v2 like the iTunes). Threaded support would be a plus also.

    Personally I do not care if gays get married... and do you know why? Because it has no effect or bearing on me.

    Guess what? I agree and could care less as well. I do however have a problem when two gay men want to adopt a little boy or girl. As this child grows up they will be so beat down mentally as they go though school (just to name one) it will warp their mind. Bullies are very brutal these days in schools and only getting worse because 'SOME' parents don't know how to spank their child.
