...and I liked it - for all of the same reasons that I liked the TV series. But there were some of the TV episodes that I liked better and, as usual, there was just not enough Ed or Ein.

But it really did look that much better than the TV series. I watch the series on a high rez monitor from DVD. Now, I did like the 16:9 on the big screen but the animation still had that cheap jerky feel. Great graphics as usual. The music was not very special. And I like a lot of Yoko Kanno's stuff - and the Seatbelts.

There is no way it was half as good as "Spirited Away" - but really, they are two very different stories done in very different styles. And dammit, of course none of the theaters in Austin will show either subtitled. But Cowboy Bebop has always had one of the better dubbing crews.

It was soo depressing to see a city on Mars far in the future look a lot like a dirty ole city of today. So sad.

Have separate programs for other functions.

Now, a browser can find embedded audio in a web page and MP3 is one of those formats. I would expect a modern browser to be able to stream audio from a page and a NICE browser would let me save it - in all of the common formats. WRONG! And this is a big misunderstanding today. Corporations have a responsibility to follow not only the letter but the spirit of the law. Corporations have a responsibility to it's community to be a good citizen and wherever possible, do what is good for us all as well as making a profit. They also have a responsibility to treat it's employees fairly and it's customer's honestly as well as not to mislead it's stockholder. And they have a responsibility not to endanger our precious environment. If for no other reason, it is just good business, in the long run. But for a high reason, for the sake of all lifekind.
