The COULD have said that no future sale of the company to another owner would not include that enormously valuable database, but they did NOT say that. Wake up!! 3. Re:Slow news day? on Debris is Shuttle's Biggest Threat · · Score: 1

well, it all could have been prevented, pretty much. You see, objects orbiting at same altitude do have the same velocity, no matter the mass. So the primary risk must come from debris orbiting on a plane at some significant angle to the shuttle.. eg, russia had no way to launch a single satellite that coujld spy on the entire earth.. It had no near-equatorial launchpad. So, to get full coverage, they had to launch circumpolar sat's .. lots of them ... So at same altitude the debris is coming in at 90deg to shuttle orbit. This is very brief and general, but my point is that it was not absolutely nec. that today's risk be as great as it is.

You must include in your income, at the time received, the fair market value of property or services you receive in bartering. If you exchange services with another person and you both have agreed ahead of time as to the value of the services, that value will be accepted as fair market value unless the value can be shown to be otherwise. Generally, you report this income on Schedule C, Profit or Loss From Business, or Schedule C-EZ, Net Profit From Business (Form 1040). However, if the barter involves an exchange of something other than services, such as in Example 3 below, you may have to use another form or schedule instead. I hope you find these helpful.

  11. some of the downside on Living Without a Pulse · · Score: 1

using non-pulsatile blood distribution is to accept several risks. Vascular hemodynamics is a very complicated matter, indeed! In some organs, eg, certain regions obtain their oxygenation during 'dyastole' where the blood pressure is lower than the average B.P.. An example is the heart muscle itself! Oxygenating blood cant flow thru heart muscle itself: its during dyastole that the heart is oxygenated. Even on more basic cellular levels the movement of oxygen molecules thru cell membranes would certainly be affected: remember, other moities must also leave the cell. That could depend on a minimal time of lower than average BP. The partial-pressures of oxygen, inside the cell, at the mitochondrial membranes, is very low: on the order of only 5 mm. Hg !!... theres not much room to play around! I'm not saying it'd be impossible to survive long-term with such a system but that there are many possible risks. tkjtkj, m.d.
