    That's because if i have a cd on my hand, and you buy it from me, you take my cd from my hand and put some money in it. If you copy the cd, you are taking the money from me (or from my account) which could be stealing.

    i know it's still not the same, but it does hurt.

    He could always buy OSX legally and tried on his PC. Sure, the EULA doesn't allow that, but EULA's aren't law.

    So what? EA is a U.S company. 70$ means 70$ USD, not 70$ on every country that has some kind of dollar. Australia is one of the most expensive countries out there (yes i have been there).

    best bang of buck should be the geforce gtx 560 for now. About 180$ and lots faster than the 7770.

    ATT's article said "any iphone with a completed contract" so it should work. It even works for on-contract phones where you have payed the ETF.

    You know you can use google maps in offline mode by caching the maps right? Just enable the pre-cache area plugin in labs, tap and hold on any spot, click on the balloon tip and choose pre-cache.

    While i am not from Australia or the US, i have traveled to both. I found Australia a lot more expensive than the US. The article (haven't read it in true /. fashion) i guess it would be in USD, so don't expect that 60$ figure to apply to you.

    the old ipad 2 is faster than the tegra 3, according to arstecnica, so it should make sense that the new ipad is even faster. i can't find the link but i saw it a few days ago, maybe here in a comment

    Convincing the studios to remove DRM , while not exactly a "field in recording" issue, may be enough to qualify.

    Also, Apple popularized the AAC format, which improved audio quality beyond MP3. Perhaps this was enough.

    and waste battery, shortening battery life by charging or electricity by using the charger, and remembering to turn on airplane mode so mails and such don't wake me up?

    why can every os but ios , android (don't know about wp7) do this properly?

    this is a wild idea, but maybe you could have paused the alarm before turning it off. You can pause the alarm in the clock app without actually deleting the alarm itself.

    At least you have an alarm that actually works with the phone off. Neither ios or android does this.

    I live in Venezuela. Went to Australia for vacation on december where they started to sell the motherboards and cpu's since october. Bought it, asked intel and gigabyte and they told me to just go to the store where i bought it and ask for a refund.

    Sucks to be me since that option isn't viable for me. Even sending the motherboard overseas and waiting for a new motherboard isn't viable since it would cost me in shipping charges even more than what i paid (around 150 dollars)

    I think this is designed to work this way. When your device is sleeping with wifi on, actually the device can get woken up by applications listening on wifi (like instant messengers)

    This behavior appeared as soon as multitasking was developed into the os.

    It isn't dead. Intel graphics are still slower than any 70$ card, so you can't play most 3d games with it and expect a decent frame rate.

    Chances are, that if you are buying a desktop chip containing sandy bridge, you will want to do gaming (you can do work related cpu bound applications i know) and therefore you will end up buying either ati or nvidia.

    Wonder why they didn't review the H67 chipset. I've got a gigabyte H67A-UD3H and it's working fine. The only thing is that it only comes with one PS2 port so i had to buy a usb mouse.
