same in england as well, worst thing is there is an lectronics boutique store about 30m from another store with cheaper prices, and by cheaper I mean £5 to £10 (on new games) yet people are to lazy to walk the extra 30 metres to save the money, plus the cheaper shop has better selection, people are idiots.
Funnily enough its suprising how many people don't think you can communicate with other people around the world, this stupid person was IM me the other day and they could not accept I was in England because I had emailed them and was talking on IM with them, I guess she thought it was an american only thing. BTW: it was an aol user:)
some games are just easier to play on a game pad, and in my opionion is less strain on the hands, don't know if thats the same for everyoen though.
You can also sit further back from the screen, I know you could do this with remote keyboards or mice, or one's with long cables, but for the most part its impracticle.
Would you like it if I made an app that reloaded you webpage every 0.2 seconds to see if you had updated it, what happen if everyone really wanted to know when your site was updated would you like it if I distributed it to say 1000 people who all ran it 24 hours a day.
I was going to buy my GF this game for her birthday last week, she loves the sims, but when I went to buy it I read the reviews on amazon and some of the fan sites, and it just put me way off, no way could I buy my GF this crap, but I knew she still wanted it, so I got her to read the amazon reviews, and she said she did not want it anymore, fine by me:).
She bought me sim city 4 as well and I got to say it is a crappy game, its beutifully done but its just to hard, I just want to spend fun running a large city, what I got instead was a game that tries to make you think to much, and don't mention the cheats in that game, type the cheat in for $1000 simolians, it would take you typing the cheat in 100 times in each sim day just to have enough money, although the trainer is pretty cool for getting money. Then it never shipped with its online componant online, or there forum up, insanity. Then the worst thing about it is the ability to import sims from sims online, I mean they probably spent so much time making this feature and I doubt hardly anyone will want to use, and anyone who clciks on it by accidant (which is not that hard) will probably find there computers crash anyway.
I guess its my fault though I expected a game similar to the others but with just updated graphics, not: never played sim city 3000 so don't know if it is similar.
they blow there online ad budget stupidly, nearly every trek site I went to was carrying nemesis ads, I mean coem everyoen who visited these sites new fine well nemesis was coming out, I never seen an online ad outside a trek site.
They could have spent some of that $35 advertising budget on flooding the net with banners at 10 cents a cpm.
"(a) producing an advertising digital music file by deteriorating or damaging a sound quality of an original music file of a record of a cooperating record corporation; and (b) distributing the advertising digital music file through the communication network." "
so when I download this stuff now, not only can I get into trouble for copyright infrindgement but also I could get done for patent infridgement.
I think a good way around the problem would be to make everything go into the public domain after a while (less time than now) but companies should be able to pay to keep things out of the public domain indefinatly, that way thinsg that the copyright holders don't see any value in, are not going to pay 1 million say for a 10 yr extension.
I run some sites and I have no doubt they would probably go under if posted on slashdot evan though I have a dedicated server, I already get alot of traffic to my sites and as soon as something is posted on slashdot you are going to get just way to many requests a second, sites can do very little about this, its not as if you will have this burst of traffic every day (or usally never), I woudl prefer to be slashdotted than have anything mirroed, if any one is generally intrested in the site it will be back up soon enough, alot of peopel complain about bandwidth problems, well that just should not happen in this world unless the user signed up for an idiot company, the only way to stop a few thousand peopel trying to access you site in a few minutes is to get better hardware, and its just not going to happen cause there is no point.
Not just that but there is lots of documentry channels these days in the UK, and you can get you science fix easily, although not everyone can get these channels I would guess that alot of people who used to watch it do.
hmmm if they asked my GF how much beer she drank in a week she would say none, if they went to the trash they would find about 50 empty tins from me and my friends, so would they assume she was lying?
I heard in asia that people give mobile phones with diamonds in them as engagement rpesents, so maybe they are taking a stab at the engagement market:)>

we are going there too.
to stop people creating there own registries :), thats why uk.com pisses them off so much.

It does not matter anyway cause any file server worth going on left dalnet a long time ago and they ain't coming back.
can someone point out to me why my post was a troll?
Not always there is many things that people can install on your computer through IE using bugs in active x controls and java script.

if they charge you for cd's can you legally copy copyrighted stuff to them?
anyone know if a charge like this exists in the uk?
it used to be read only, you can post there now.

the chache might not been around for ever though, all it would take is a few of the large publishers to sue them.
Same lie, but at least this lie allows you to use any browser, seriously though his browser probably is just a shitty VB app, with internet explorer control and that shitty bonzi buddy internet booster installed.
