Fuck that. I dont want my taxes going to some lawyer to play legal games with MS. We are putting a European army together now, this is probably as good time to test that it works. Lets try fighting instead of legal wrangling.

Its a knock on effect for microsoft. If they accept and provide interoperability with OpenDocument then a lot more people can happily use OpenOffice.org instead of MS Office. If you are not using MS Office then a lot of people much of the depencency for windows is removed.......
Would you prefer the private sector was in charge and just wrote New Orleans off as loss and not bother allocating funds to resolve the situation.
