Exactly, today while watching the FA Cup final in England I mentally emulated a professional soccer player. In a dazzling 10 minute spell I scored a record six goals, 5 were wonder strikes and 1 was a simple tap in. Unfortuately my emulation ultimately proved to be worthless as the manc scum won 3-0 anyway.

It will be located at Lagrangian point L2 which as you say is a million miles from Earth. The logic being that gravity is equalised there so it wont move and its deep enough in space to reduce heat interference on the IR camera. Part of the project goal is to reduce operational costs as Hubble incurs 230-250 Million US a year to run so there are no service missions envisaged, it will be a standalone effort.

Thanks for the summary but can I just say I appreciate the level of detail and information provided. Way too many 'benchmarks' these days, especially those dealing with language performance are from some loser with their crappy home PC which they usually dont even know how to configure properly.

Its a relief to see a benchmark from someone competent and aware of the various factors affecting the results obtained.

It cant possibly be Marc Fleury (JBoss Head dude) because there is no profanity in the post.

The definitive proof though is provided by the fact there is no mention of UnifiedClassloaders (either 1,2 or 3), no mention of Interceptors and most conclusively no mention of the totally visionary JBoss AOP.

You obviously have no familiarity with JBOSS. Shy retiring innocents they are not. For years now they have been haranging anyone who listen that JBOSS is the best Application Server in the known universe, this despite substantial evidence that some of their critical systems were well below standard.

I have no problems with an organistion hawking their wares. I do have a problem with it being turned into propaganda and stuck down my throat when I know it to be patently false.
