If more websites could broadcast and produce HDTV quality and higher res photos then this would be the impetus to move to broadband for everyone. It would also lower costs with more competitition(wimax).
I need a reason to switch but it's not there yet for me. I don't play alot of games or download operatings systems. HDTV quality video productions,Sports,Movies and News might push people over from evil pricey cable tv.
New Orleans mayor didn't help out when he didn't use all those school buses which are now underwater to evacuate. The local and state people are the idiots and should take majority blame. The city is under sea level so you would think they would be prepared. Some of those people didn't even care. Good one Fats Domino , you stupid sack of shit.
Robots do a better job. And they can stay and work there longer than humans.
I would only agree with it if it were permanent . That's right . Build a station with robots first and then send people to live there for 5 or 10 years.

Since money is the evil causing this then why don't we create a goup of people that created the real tech behind this and challenge these generic BS patents.

It's competition. I don't care for the channels on now and with an alacarte type system with FIOS then I can choose what I would like instead of a QVC paying their way onto my cable line.
