    aren't the ctrl+c/v/x a rip off from ye olde macintosh apple key+c/v/x?

    and I agree with the other reply that says using keyboard shortcuts is fast...

    Until you go to another country... I recently went to an internet cafe in Spain and was *really* confused for a couple of seconds when trying to open a webpage using ctrl O. it brought up the favourites. :) ctrl A was open a new page.

    But they don't see it as sueing customers - they see it as sueing thiefs.

    In *their* opinion if yer downloading/sharing music then you are a dirty thief. They would equate it with not sueing a shoplifter coz he might come into your store some day and buy something...

    What's not so funny is how often Computing Students don't return books on Visual C, HTML, C++, etc etc. OK so they go out of date quickly too - but thats not the point.

    I work in a library and we spend ages every week looking for mis-shelved, lost books. This technology would allow us to find them a lot easier.

    I agree that some forms of art can be, but have you watched any of the videos that are on the illegal art website?

    A lot of this stuff is satire...

    now Damien Hirst for example *thats* pretentious
    (IMHO) but lots of people say it isn't.

    just because it ain't a pretty landscape doesn't mean it's pretentious.
