Most grandpa's I know don't have cable, or if they do they just have the basic cheapest package.
If you don't think they'll feel it when enough people with the $120-160/mo packages switch to internet based TV then I have this bridge I'd like to sell you.
How did you set the threshold? Your argument seems to be that because "drivers conversing with fellow passengers do not present the same danger" it should be exempt from regulation similar to cellphones. So, how did you come to this conclusion that cellphones = bad, passengers = okay? Is there a danger metric you used? Where do other driving distractions fall on your list?
I have a hard time believing people who spent their high school and college years gaming are suddenly socialite outdoorsy types after they get out of school.
I guess I'm living my life in reverse. In high school/college I spent my nights out pretty much without exception, you couldn't have paid me to stay home and play video games then. Now that I'm married with kids old enough to think hangin out with dad is lame I game, as does my wife.
Most the people I know use webmail. My school's webmail is OWA and I've yet to get another browser to work with it. I am able to use the online classroom and student information system using Opera, but only by telling it to identify as IE (not something I'd expect the average user to even know was possible) and I still have to use IE to upload homework because neither firefox or opera work.
"State parties shall take all feasible measures to ensure that persons who have not attained the age of 15 years do not take a direct part in hostilities."
The UN's policy on "child soldiers" has to do with recruiting and doesn't apply here. Even if it did, based on the UN's definition 15 year olds can fight if they choose to.
The person I replied to said it would be 'bad' for her to use government computers to discuss her campaign (implying that she was using the yahoo account to hide wrongdoing.) My reply points out that isn't the case, she used a private email account because using government resources for a campaign is illegal.
Actually the "hacker" has stated that he read every email in her account and couldn't find any government business being conducted. The emails to and from government officials had to do with her campaign and would have been illegal if sent using government accounts.
So if I leave my door unlocked and someone walks inside my home, takes pictures of everything, and posts those pictures on the internet for the world to see then they shouldn't be prosecuted because all they really did was turn a doorknob right?
WoW's not much different than everything else in life. I remember running wind sprints in football practice. Hated doing them, but I loved playing the game enough that I put up with the hours of work for the opportunity to play on Friday night. If I could have payed someone else to do the 2 a days and still had the same results in the end then you bet your ass I would have.
Sounds to me like that guy with the 4.0 knows what he doesn't want to do with the degree and is learning the skills he needs to accomplish what is required. Get to know him, because wherever he ends up he'll probably end up being the boss.
I too have three children, and each is different and unique all three require different parenting skills. I believe that I am a good parent, but without knowing the child/children in question I would never presume to know enough to give good parenting advice to another person.

This exaxt comment is posted every time there's a story about a kindle, usually by someone who can't name 5 books they've read in the last year...
I can see why people who don't read can't see a use for a kindle, but for those of us who read a book a week or more it's a real nice piece of tech.

Seems to me like you went ahead and convicted him anyway...

Again, you seem to have a problem with the definition of "taking".
When someone copies something without authorization what do they "take".
"Finally, you can keep copies on an SD card that slips into the Kindle or on your PC via the USB cable. (which can also be used to load content.)"
Unless you're implying that USB is dead tech?

replace 'bad' with 'illegal' and you'd be correct...

Economists are businessmen/women who can't get a real job.
Guess I'll have to just bookmark this baby. Nothing like free appetite suppressants to help get back my girlish figure...
umm, it's in the summary "can build muscle tone in mice without exercise."
i can take all the stimulants and steroids I want, but as long as I'm tapped in a cubicle all day they aren't going to do much for me...

because every thing worth knowing is clearly already in a peer reviewed article somewhere. there's obviously nothing more to be learned.
I'm continuously amazed at the quality of educator that schools hire nowadays.
Then again, we all know where those who can't "do" end up...
How do you like those non-OTA HD channels?
