The Knowledge is outdated and is easily replaced by GPS. Of course you need local knowledge but not 30,000 streets.
I rarely use black cabs as London's public transport system is excellent. The only cabs that I have been ripped off in were black cabs. Taking the long route or having no idea where they was going (Heathrow to Twickenham would you believe). The legally required to take you stuff is bullshit and you know it!
The design of a black cab is perfect for the job. Seats 5-6 people with luggage and easy to get in and out of.
Most of the time you are not casting from your phone/tablet to the Chromecast. Instead the tablet is a glorified remote control. The tablet instructs the Chromecast to start playing a Netflix movie. Once the media starts playing the tablet does nothing (you can switch it off if you really want).
I actually prefer this to a remote. It's much easier to flick through Netflix movies or my Plex collection on a tablet than using a remote.
The 5.x update for the Nexus 7 2012 was a mistake. This device is pretty lacking in the hardware department. I have one and I too rolled back to an older version.
My Nexus 4 phone which was released around the same time runs 5.x perfectly.
The problem with the Smart TV Plex/Netflix/BBC iPlayer/whatever apps is that the user interface sucks. A Chromecast and a tablet does the same and is so much easier to use.
The National Museum of Computing at Bletchley (which is a separate entity) is the best bit IMHO. You can see Colossus running and chat with the guys restoring old valve computers.
Are you kidding? Most UK high street shops are open until 7-8pm every day, often later on Thursdays.
Most UK supermarkets are open 24/7 (except Sundays when it's 9-4 or 10-5).
Small supermarkets (below a certain size) can open until 10-11pm.
>I remember when I first encountered IMDb. Downloaded it from aminet
Me too. Seems they stopped updating the AmigaGuide version in 2005. Slackers.
WinUAE does include a free ROM that comes from the AROS project. It's not 100% compatible but many hardware-banging games will be OK.

Come on. Even Windows does not have a default admin account with no password.
There's one outside Earls Court tube station in London: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/... You can go inside too.
Mine also. I have a feeling it was for the stagefright bug. The scanner reported as vulnerable after the previous update. Now it reports OK.

The big downside of UTF-8 is using it as an in-memory string. To find the nth character and you have to start at the beginning of the string.
C# and Java use UTF16 internally for strings.
And in British English.
Does it have a 2,560 x 1,700 screen? I think that's what you're paying for here.

"fanny" in the UK is a term for a woman's genitals, but it is not obscene!
Have you seen the USD - Russian Ruble exchange rate recently!
My phone (Nexus 4) in the UK will happily pick up GLONAS satellites so there's no problem!

Fresh apples are available all year round. They store them in huge Nitrogen filled warehouses.
Installed successfully on a 2009 Celeron laptop. Seems to work fine.
The Northern line has been driverless since 2012. The person who sits in the front just opens & closes the doors (when they are not on strike).
Why don't you get it fixed and install Windows 10 :-)
Interestingly Cygwin's Bash was vulnerable until I updated. Now I get the same message as you.
I've got cygwin Bash installed in Windows...
The Nexus 4 was release in November 2012 and will be officially supported in the next Android version L.
