There is an incredible shortage of user/programming manuals from the creators of the languages, which yields a deforesting effort by 3rd party writers. I wish you could get a book for (insert new language here), from the creators of it, that looked like the old programming/user manuals. You could know nothing about programming, or the bare minimum, and come out of it with the ability to fully operate and create solutions to any given problem within the parameters of that language -- all without Google!

If they feel like any arm diameter beneath 25" scale is too effeminate, I'm sure there are plenty of UFC fighters who are smaller than that, who happily contest otherwise, on a regular basis, for money, in the ring.

The fact that you can complain about it here like the above says we're not *that* bad yet. If you stop seeing anyone complaining at all, then you know things are REALLY bad... those people are being censored/arrested/etc.
Aren't the credit card companies liable in the case that someone war-drives your credit card info? I mean, if it's not encrypted and it's effectively broadcasting the number, could there really be a bigger security risk? Maybe we should all just get stainless steel wallets.
If you've ever browsed through the old Windows C library header files, you notice some "Copyright Berkeley Systems Division" type stuff in there... no surprise that's where they turn!
the percentage of new vs total games is always decreasing, because of the immense amount of games for non-supported consoles, etc. So over time, you have to buy more used games vs. new, assuming any fixed set of consoles.
Dell making apple computers would be a bit like repurposing the old Ford Taurus plant to make Ferrari's. Apple's focus of smaller, quality runs and different chipsets/motherboard config's at least gives Dell something to think about in terms of design. It would be a huge blow to creativity if Dell didn't have the Apple pressure to innovate at the hardware level.
If you want to disable windows, there are much easier ways to do it than WGA, just look at the massive list of bots, viruses, etc. that if you're not up to date on patches and protection, can wreck your machine post haste!
Diet Coke already has zero calories and a "safe" amount of caffeine. If you're not immune or allergic to the effects, it should provide a temporary stimulation that encourages you to get up and move, thus burning calories... right? I think this one burns more calories because they intend to only sell it at stores that are uphill from you, so you have to walk uphill and burn more calories...
Stuff like this makes me think that maybe someone high-up is pushing for legislation to force people to buy certain hardware (i.e. hard drives), when they might own stock in a company that sells hard drives and stand to make a huge profit.
Maybe it will be rigged to make the other OS run more crappy than windows, so that Windows looks like the better os... then again, how would you possibly do that!/ducks

This just in, the new XBOX will undercut profits by so much, they will literally pay YOU to take one. of course, games will cost $10 per minute, so you'll pay them back many times over in the first hour of play.
At the current rate of birth/death in the US, we'll hit 400 million in approx 2043, with the southern states gaining the most. It makes sense that the south would gain more, because I can't see how we can support that many more people in the bigger northern cities.
if your kid is playing the game, then that's at least X minutes he or she isn't out actually bullying kids. How about taking some measures against actual bullies, instead of just going "boys will be boys" when Jerk Junior beats up yet another kid for lunch money, or kicks yet another puppy, or lights yet another cigarette at age 9? I'd be more concerned about the kid who shows up at 9 am on a school day to buy the game...
