One could almost say that Chrome is less integrated with Google Search. One of the only things I'm missing in Chrome is FF's Awesomebar's "I'm Feeling Lucky" behavior.
I can type "wiki somethingrandom" and it will take me straight to the wiki page in FF, but in Chrome it simply takes me to the search results.
It had me download a small (~.5mb) installer which then preceded to download and install it. Possibly it is Google Gears, because I don't think I had it installed.
What don't you like about the enemy autoscaling? I thought Oblivion was nice in how you can more finely define how hard the game is, even while you're playing it.
I just recently noticed how targeted some of the ads can get. I get dating ads mentioning my university, and some about hobbies (photography in particular). The other day I was looking over my brothers shoulder when he was on facebook, and he had ads from christian dating services all over his.
Sure, Dell rapes you on the upgrades, but the baseline is very nicely priced. I've seen other's comment, but it's just not even worth it to assemble your own machines if the baseline Dell's are enough. You can still upgrade the desktops if you want, of course.
I bought a C2D laptop from Dell last fall. The Vostro line was new. They were the same exact cases as the Inspiron(still are), but were priced at like 60% of that other line with the same specs(!). Also, speaking of video upgrades. Right before I bought mine, a 8400M was $100 over the Intel, while the 8600M was $200 over(as you alluded to). But, strangely enough, the day I actually ordered the machine, the price stayed the same, while the 8400M became the baseline option and the 8600M being the $100 upgrade, which I was more then happy to pay for.
That reminds me...I attend one of the largest single college campuses in the US. We have absolutely terrible student run television. I mean, worse then my high school's morning show, which embarrassed me in high school. This was worse.
One day I passed it flipping through channels and what did I see? The default windows XP screen saver, the floating logo.
The only real broadband in the US (not including business leased lines, of course) is Verizon's FIOS, and that's available in so few areas it might as well be mythical.
And what is your definition of broadband? I know a lot of people are going to cite legal/etc definitions, but my cable connection gets a good 5.5-6 megabits. Is that not broadband?

That one click really makes a difference ;)
Just curious, what do you get out of FF/Opera's find behavior that you don't get out of Chrome/Safaris' "fancier" find's?

Mine is about 180 degrees different from yours. I thought it was a fantastic game.
Mine is about 360 degrees different from yours.
Thank you M$!
What?!?!
Wow, that was blast from the past.
I love when old threads like that are brought up, makes you think.
I like how this is modded informative..
He's running CentOS so we can only assume/hope he's not giving a cent to Redhat.

Mettler-Toledo runs both Windows XP Embedded and Suse 10.sumthing on their scales depending on customer requirements.
He's archiving as wavs, and simply making available the mp3s. I wouldn't want to host those wavs, do you?
I am pretty certain that this method does not work across providers
Sprint also does this through your voicemail.
I don't have MMS on my Sprint plan, but people sometimes send me them. When that happens, I just get a link I put in my browser.
I was always a little disheartened that I didn't have to authenticate myself
As I watched the short Presto I couldn't help but imagine a guy at Pixar playing Portal on their lunch break and going "Hey, I've got an idea!"

I found that hilarious
I agree. I remove all the dumb themes in XP also and people ask me all the time, "How old is your computer!?? Is that 95?" or something like that.....
Dolphin in KDE 4.1 Beta 2 supports tabs. CTRL-SHIFT-N.
I don't think you can copy from the current tab onto another tab, but that may be coming.

It's everythingtodowithappleproducts management software.
Last week we had that story about Textbook Torrents. This was one of the ones I found there!
A friend of mine had a virus infection and asked to borrow the tape drive and a spare tape.
Too bad he didn't get a bacteria infection, you could of set your dad at ease by giving him some penicillin.

I get less then one megabit down though.
I havn't watched the video yet
So I head here to the comments to find out some technical details about this plane, and it turns out this article is about some crappy news network.
Who knew?
At first glance, I thought that it was a case of Konsole killing someone. (Running reiserfs anybody?.....anybody? Aww, too soon?)
