    IMHO the way we stare into a little window and operate things with a mouse and a keyboard is very very limited, and so no matter how hard you try, any desktop will basically suck.... I want the actual surface of my desk to be the desktop, one very lage touch sensitive screen.
    This would turn counter-strike into a very interesting game... There's a terrorist! Poke him!

    I really find it hard to believe that ATM's are using windows based OS'. Despite that, as long as the networks they are on are smart then they should not even be susecptible to infection... unless someone figures out a way to transfer one via their credit card o.O...

    I know it's pretty obvious, and it should have been assumed before we recieved these responses but I'm somewhat dissapointed at how obvious it is that Bush didn't write his own responses. There's not a single spelling error, which I think gave it away.

    When was the last time they released a product that wasn't amazing? This is one of my favorite software companies and I doubt they will let a movie that is less than good out. From commander keen to doom iii, ID has never failed to deliver.

    Marriage is a lifetime agreement. If you don't want to get into a lifetime agreement, you shouldn't.
    In a religious sense, and when refferring to "marriage". Yes, your statement is ideal. However, from a legal stance when looking at "unions" you can't push that moral obligation onto the person.

    You mention voice chat, which I use on a daily basis. A group of friends (about 20) use ventrilo to voice chat and it works fine, especially in correspondence to gaming. Look at Yahoo chat rooms, too. They have voice chat, so it's pretty popular. I think if it were better implimented in other IM applications it'd be used much more.

    I don't understand why everyone is annoyed as if the RIAA is doing something incorrect. Maybe it hasn't sunk in to anyone here, but downloading music you havn't purchased IS stealing, no matter what logic you put behind it. "Oh god they're just scared tactics". No shit sherlock, they can't sue millions of people, they have to stop people from stealing SOMEHOW.

    At first I thought you were implying, "Yeah this way if they're executed but were found innocent later, we can just ressurect them with their DNA".

    It's a curious subject, why are people so inclined to cling to the past? I guess this isn't exactly as case of that, this information can be useful for later reference, but it seems there are a lot more efforts to bring back the past than to think and look toward the future. What's done has been done, and it doesn't matter a whole lot anymore.
