  1. Before you can even begin to say that a certain crypted exists you have to examine the evidence and determine if such a creature can exist. I have devised several questions that I asked myself about such creatures before I put forth any effort to believe them. If the answer is 'no' to any of the following questions then said creature probably doesn't exist. But just because you can answer yes to all the questions only allows for the possibility for the creature to exist. I doesn't prove it does.

Can the creature exist without violating the laws of physics or biology?

A couple of examples of this are Batsquatch and the famous chupacabra. Batsquatch, a large Bigfoot like animals that flies around with big bat like wings. Violates the laws of physics, doesn't exist. Chupacabra, a crypted that lives only on the blood of goats. Blood alone doesn't contain enough nutrients to sustain a creature of its reported size. Violates the laws of biology, doesn't exist.

Where the two most well-known crypteds, Bigfoot and the lochness monster on this question are like this. Bigfoot is really only a big ass hairy monkey which doesn't violate any natural laws. Loch Ness Monster, such creatures have existed in the prehistoric past. No reason they can'y exist today.

Is there credible circumstantial evidence for the creature to exist? Are there credible eyewitnesses, footprints, credible photos, and or remains?

In the case of batsquatch? Really? How many of you have ever heard of batsquatch before this posting? In the case of the chupacabra, there lots of witnesses that saw something, most don't agree on the same animal. There is evidence of attacks on farm animals but most of those can written off as known animals. There is even a short film of what looks like a shaved dog to me running.

In the case of Bigfoot there reliable witnesses, foot prints, some film stock that can't be completely ruled out. There is other body prints and 1 or 2 large piles of shit. If Bigfoot was a murder trial based on circumstantial evidence along we would have had a hanging a long time ago.

In the case of the lochness monster, there is some witnesses and pictures, of something. Most of which can be explained by perfectly natural creatures or events.

Is there a entry in the fossil record for a creature similar or related to said cryptid?

In the case of batsquatch and the chupacabra, no there isn't any such records.

In the case of Bigfoot we have Gigantopithecus. In the case of Nessie, we have the Plesiosaurus.

Can the creatures reported habitat sustain a large enough population while keeping it mostly hidden.

Batsquatch, nobody knows the real habitat of this cryptid. It has been seen only a few times in a very small area. Chubracabra, well there are lots of goats out there to suck on, so who knows.

As for lochness, well while the loch is big, it isn't big enough to sustain a large enough breeding population of creatures this size. The loch is also poor in nutrients so it probably can't sustain even a small number of creatures. Sorry, Nessie but you probably don't exist.

Only in the case of Bigfoot is all the requirements of this question positive. Most cases and sightings are in the North American North West. There is millions of square miles to hide and sustain colonies of these creatures. There is large stocks of fish and other game if they are meat eaters. If they are not, there is plenty of grasses, plants, and roots too.

While this doesn't prove that there is a large unknown hairy ape roaming the country. It certainly does allow for the possibility.

I like my S7 and it will be many years before I replace it so a new smart phone doesn't interest me. That being said when it comes time to replace it one of my buying choices will feature a 3.5mm jack. If its another Samsung then fine, if not then its been a good run.

Being able to dump music files on to your phone is one of the best features android has that is often over looked. I buy lots of jazz cd's from cdbaby and the listening loft, just to name two. I can get them flac or high quality mp3s.

I just download them to my phone, using my phone, drop them on my SD card and off I go. Android plays flac so I'm good.

I don't have to go through any computer or apples walled garden. Iphone users keep saying their phones are best for music when clearly they aren't.

Not true ether. Looking at some performance benchmarks comparing the iphone7 vs the Samsung S7, no where does it show the iphone 7 is twice as fast as the S7.

What they show is the iphone 7 is slightly faster than the S7. And these are just software benchmarks. In real world use both phones would be indistinguishable as far as speed goes.

I know apple fans need to compensate for lack of features and smaller displays but it would be nice if you would quit making these things up.

Except it isn't. I've ran tests that compare the iphone 7 against the Samsung S7, including graphics benchmarks. While each phone would perform better in certain tests the over all speed differences on the displays was insignificant. In real world performance there would be no noticeable difference to the user.

I am not trying to sound like an apple apologist but really is the headphone jack that big of a deal?

Yes, it is. I listen to smooth jazz and blues in my 2012 Lamborghini.... okay, its a 2012 Honda Civic. Do you know how many station are on the radio that plays Jazz and Blues? Not many.

To hear music in my car I have to use a patch cable that goes from my phone to my car. Now I could have gotten a car with blue tooth or I could get a Bluetooth adapter,

So yes. If I couldn't drive to work listening to Jazz on spotify then my coworkers would really hate me.

  12. This shouldn't surprise anyone. Explorers have been doing since the first "man" left Africa. When you are going where no man has gone before, the prospect of dying there is a real possibility.

Especially when space travel is involved. Armstrong and Aldrin actually had pretty low chances to return from the moon. They actually expected they would die there. That didn't stop them from going.

When boldly going where no one has gone before, death is always a possibility. Just let some one else wear the red shirt. Why tempt fate?

This will defiantly change the way aircraft are handled. Maybe there should be a "drone space" about 100 above the ground to 200 feet depending on the terrain. It could probably be more. I believe aircraft have to stay above 400 feet unless landing or taking off.

I wonder how long before we start seeing drones take the place of police in cars.

  18. This I have to agree 100% on. If you plan to run Linux on a system, or any other OS like BSD, it is best that you do a lot of research before doing so. Linux has come a long way since 1.3.xx but there are still some hardware out there that will not run with it.

Personally I would build my own system to run linux on. It isn't as hard as some think it is. There are lots of tutorials on it and odds are there is a nerd some where close by that will help you.
