It may fail in some way, and don't expect any help when you trip over some way in which does fail. It will most likely not work at all with in a future version, it may even fail after applying the next bugfix/patch.
Well, since it's a Microsft product, i'd expect the same for a supported OS as well.
I am happy with my current distro (gentoo), but when new users ask me what distro to recommend, i feel like i can't recommend SuSE as most new users don't want to go through all the trouble to do the FTP install an don't see the reason to pay for linux which they can easily get free elsewhere.
I have to say that leaked screeners sell movies. Before i could download movies, i never bought one. Downloading a movie si the only way i decide what movies are worth spending $20 on.
If they are promoting reaserach they would wna tthe contestants to want to run as long as possible. If you can harvest excess energy and store it in batteries during the day and the run all night, that's a much better design, and therefore much more useful. A real solar vehicle won't be day-only. Or if it is it sure won't sell.
Are they going after downloaders or just uploaders? They have no case against downloaders (show ne the copyright on my songs), but if they just go for downloaders, they'll just make is slower without seriously hurting the userbase. They'll just piss off the people who now have to wait 10x instead of x mins to download a song.
Acting as my server. Most of the parts (CPU, RAM, MOBO) date from '97. The case, CD Drive, and PSU have stickers from '94, and the HDD dates form '95, i think. I have no idea how old the graphics card is, but it's a least 6 yrs old. The keyboard came from an IBM AT(I think, may have been from the XT). The NIC is brand new at a mere 5 years old.
It's running FreeBSD 4.6 with Apache2, mySQL 3, PHP4, ftp, and ssh with no problems.
Kinda like when i tried to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Though, the explosion wasn't more thn a pop with a little battery juice leaking out when i blew the battery. Didn't even hurt the charger.

And i don't know about virus protection. Don't open attachments and use a firewall for starters. Maybe shell out for Norton unless there are any good free ones

Assuming it's ok if i don't have any cats, i'm there. And i sleep in the server room, so i go for the soothing, not scary, glow.

Does anyone have the torrent for the live-eval cd yet?
Also, do they actually think that people buy it since they can't download an install iso instead of just using a differnet distro like drake?

Nice. You need to put that on the web somewhere where it'll be read. It shows how ridiculus the RIAA and MPAA bs is.
I have emerge rsync && emerge -U world in cron.daily you insensitive clod.
The screenshots remind me of kde2. Is it running qt embedded?
Say it. I saw one of these things the other day adn it had a link to where it would say the word.
i've always been glad i don't live in the UK. Sure the US is fucked, but compared to England we're fuckin' perfect.

don't harp on the details. It's not healthy.
so that's why carter was ineffective.
why don't we get the good folks of Enron to manage our national debt?
At least Enron would balance the budget and pay off the debt in 1 quarter.
That's the story of my desktop. I still have the original hdd (along with 3 others) and the original CD ROM.

Y'all have electricity down there? I didn't know any third world countries had electricity, much less computers and imax. :)
Greay link. I'm actually going to be switching my mom over from windows to linux. I guess i'll be seeing how well i can adapt this to kmail as well.

MS is the Nissan of the software world. It'll never be cool.
I see you don't know any ricers.
Guy 1: "Did you get the awsome new virus?"
Guy 2: "No, i have a mac"
Guy 1: "Oh. Everyone else got it. I guess you're just weird. Looser"
Offscreen Voice: "Don't ever let this happen to you. Buy Windows RG today"
not windows really good edition?
(if you don't get it search google for a 5 yr old flash animation about windows RG)
Besides, most of the people I know who are clueless about computers hate computers, and nothing will ever change that.
Unless they use macs. Non-geek mac users will still go on about how great macs are. It's kinda supprising coming form some of these guys.
