    It may fail in some way, and don't expect any help when you trip over some way in which does fail. It will most likely not work at all with in a future version, it may even fail after applying the next bugfix/patch.

    Well, since it's a Microsft product, i'd expect the same for a supported OS as well.

    I am happy with my current distro (gentoo), but when new users ask me what distro to recommend, i feel like i can't recommend SuSE as most new users don't want to go through all the trouble to do the FTP install an don't see the reason to pay for linux which they can easily get free elsewhere.

    I have to say that leaked screeners sell movies. Before i could download movies, i never bought one. Downloading a movie si the only way i decide what movies are worth spending $20 on.

    If they are promoting reaserach they would wna tthe contestants to want to run as long as possible. If you can harvest excess energy and store it in batteries during the day and the run all night, that's a much better design, and therefore much more useful. A real solar vehicle won't be day-only. Or if it is it sure won't sell.

    Are they going after downloaders or just uploaders? They have no case against downloaders (show ne the copyright on my songs), but if they just go for downloaders, they'll just make is slower without seriously hurting the userbase. They'll just piss off the people who now have to wait 10x instead of x mins to download a song.

    That's the story of my desktop. I still have the original hdd (along with 3 others) and the original CD ROM.

    Acting as my server. Most of the parts (CPU, RAM, MOBO) date from '97. The case, CD Drive, and PSU have stickers from '94, and the HDD dates form '95, i think. I have no idea how old the graphics card is, but it's a least 6 yrs old. The keyboard came from an IBM AT(I think, may have been from the XT). The NIC is brand new at a mere 5 years old.

    It's running FreeBSD 4.6 with Apache2, mySQL 3, PHP4, ftp, and ssh with no problems.

    Kinda like when i tried to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Though, the explosion wasn't more thn a pop with a little battery juice leaking out when i blew the battery. Didn't even hurt the charger.

    Besides, most of the people I know who are clueless about computers hate computers, and nothing will ever change that.

    Unless they use macs. Non-geek mac users will still go on about how great macs are. It's kinda supprising coming form some of these guys.
