    Consumer Reports did a side-by-side test, as well as simulated UV exposure age tests. They found the same story -- refill ink was OK for drafts, but name brand ink looked and lasted much better.
    You get what you pay for, anyone?

    No, not quite. That's the one that he modified to comply with the C&D order. I was kind of hoping to see what it looked like before he made those changes.

    As one of your sibling posts points out, there are screenshots (black and white) in the C&D order itself, so that's good enough for me.

    He's complaining that the screenshots aren't very different? I thought the point of Longhorn was primarily the changes within the OS internals.

    The only virus I've ever had infect my Windows computer was Java based, installed due to a flaw in 1.4.2 and some website I visited I suppose. I don't feel any better about Java being integrated in some way that I don't understand with Open Office, than I do with Word using Macro files, or offering VBS integration perhaps.

    I think Hasbro has done the typical thing here. I also think they've made the same mistake. But most people won't care.
    Would this have been reasonable: require escrabble to provide a banner ad (top) on each page for hasbro products or hasbro scrabble.
    There doesn't seem to be much symbiosis in corporations these days. At least not in American markets.
    Yeah, but that's a de facto endorsement. If e-scrabble then decides to change the rules in some way that Hasbro doesn't like (quadruple word score for obscenities!) then that banner ad becomes a big problem for Hasbro.

    Moderators, parent post is not insightful, it is clueless. It doesn't depend on the spammer being honest. It depends on the spammer being dishonest. For actual information about how this system works see IBMs web page about it: http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/fairuce
    Thanks for the link -- the CNN writeup completely missed the point, characterizing the system as a reverse DOS attack, not as a challenge/response system to verify email with mismatching sender domains and IP addresses.
