than Buffy this season. I don't have any source besides my thick skull, but I think that Angel's been doing better this season.
Salon had some great articles about the last season of Buffy. Check 'em out before salon is gone!
True, but I don't really nead a whole system. I watch DVDs on my computer and listen to music through my computer. I'm trying to rid myself of my stereo stack because all it is nowadays is an amp for my computer. Unfortunately, I don't think that this system will cut it for music, but hopefully someday someone will build a nice system like this with great sound for music. Then it's bye-bye to the clunky ugly stack of stereo components I have now.
My girlfriend was buggin me about trying to play some of the word games on MSN. Turns out the game didn't work because I had installed openoffice and IE would run Sun's Java instead of MS's own homebrewed version. When I turned of Sun's Java, the game worked fine...
I've read on other message boards that the Ipod batteries can't be replaced. Does it mean that the ipod is in fact disposable? Has slashdot ever covered this?
You'll have a helluva a fast graphics machine. Of course, you'll go deaf in no time, at least if they're both as loud as reported. I guess it's all about compromise, right?
"Nothing destroys a game community faster than the proliferation of cheaters."
I don't know if I agree with that. Look at how popular CounterStrike still is, and has been, even though people have been complaining about rampant cheating since it came out.
Because it's the standard. Not necessarily better, but what is the most widely used. Besides, getting one OS to do all I want is challenge enough. Why complicate it by switching to an OS that you KNOW is going to be more of a challenge to get up and running?
My first computer was a 600xl with no external storage (I was a poor teenager!) I remember typing in pages of codes, playing the game for a while, and then shutting off the machine-- all of my work gone forever. And I did it again and again and again.
Anyone know what happened to JD Casten? He wrote some cool stuff...
Anyone know how to get rid of it?
I'm having problems with:
-The back button (tells me it can't find "\" when I hit it
-Can't download any files.
I never had these probs with earlier releases, and now I can't seem to go back. If I uninstall (on win2k) and then reinstall an earlier build, it doesn't work. Bummer 'cuz I really like Mozilla.
It is actually kind of fun to see movies in public, rather than being at home all the time.
Why do people go to sporting events rather than watching them at home for free with better views and real beer?

I'm doing something similar with my refrigerator. It'll be really sweet-- I'll be able to tell if I have beer without even opening the door!
Pics coming soon!
They're probably going to make the same claims about beer, I bet...
Tough time differentiating? Try Turkish Money!

I constantly had problems there due to all of the zeroes on the money. When you're wheeling and dealing, it can be tough to tell the difference between 500000 and 5000000 on the fly. Luckily, the few times that I did give the wrong bills (5 mil instead of 500,000), the person was nice enough to correct me.
Regardless of how countries differentiate their denominations, it requires familiariry with the bills to get to know them. Unfortunately, sometime it takes trial and error...
One big difference between taping and burning or downloading mp3s is cost. I used to pay between $5 and $8 per blank tape to get one that sounded decent. With MP3s and CD burning, the quality is excellent, the cost is minimal. Time spent doing it is greatly reduced too. Hell, I don't even have to turn over the tape anymore to record the second side!

He played two roles in Adaptation. Is he nominated for both? Could he have been nominated for best actor AND best supporting actor for the same film?

A space hamster. Every game need a space hamster.
Don't know. But he is definitely not the guy at http://www.willwheaton.com/

Because I use Mozilla. The site want me to "upgrade" to IE? Ha!
Thanks. Problem solved. I have a mozilla that works again!

Someone set us up the capacitor?
It had to be said.
On second thought, no. No it didn't.

You'd have to partition it, right? How many partitions could you/would you have to make on this thing? A lot, I'm thinking.

Does it make any sense to defrag the drive when you get a healthy bunch of mp3s on it?
