A bit of it is Safari and Chrome if you look at the relationship between them and Other. Most of it is FF3.5 though, look at the FF2/FF3 convergence in 2008-08, then look at the similar pattern in FF3/Other happening now.
It's pretty poor that they don't have graphs for these three new versions.
Also see the consistent pattern of IE6 usage on weekdays (and the inverse pattern in the FF, it's about a 3% spread) - poor sods forced to use it at work (no offence intended to those in this situation).
They have ul#commentlisting.d2 div.full div.commentBody {
clear:none; } in their CSS, it should be clear: both; which I tried in FireBug and can confirm works.
On top of that, this has the potential to create more work for artists. E.g. There are a lot of people who don't want the same car, phone, clothes, &c. as everyone else and would be willing to pay a premium for 'couture' designs of almost anything you could build with a replicator. Also, with fashion items like clothes, phones and accessories they'd probably want new designs every week to keep ahead of/up with the trends.
I agree that one doesn't need to add sugar to good coffee (and if it were bad enough to warrant it, I'd rather go without), but I do like a good cafe latte.
People on random forums often have no idea what the fuck they are talking about, like to blow things up, and predict the end of the world every other month.
According to a friend that works in the power distribution industry they do switch the power off due to heavy loading, it's just that they do it in poorer areas.
I tried the new index a while ago and then went back to the old one. I'm not sure if the option to go back to the old one is still available and I won't enable the new index to find out, in case I get stuck there. The option should be available on the help page under Index or Index Beta Settings (Use Beta Index checkbox): http://slashdot.org/help
That's actually a good idea. Use ReCAPTCHA to digitise old letters as well as old books.

Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

That's even better, thanks.
Alternatively, add
a:visited { background-image: none ! important; }
To your userContent.css
I can confirm that this works.
I don't see why not, it's not as if the music is illegal.
I'm curious who this is and what the music sounds like too.
I misread one of the article tags as 'thatsnomnom' and wondered why this satelite was so delicious.

If you told me someone made a dog, I'd ask you how they assembled the molecules.

I haven't listened to it yet, but am considering buying it based purely off of the concept.
On a side note, how much facepalm would you have if you 'coaster'ed the blank.

My wife would leave me in a second for a robot that takes orders and comes bearing sweets.
Fortunately for you I'm already married -- what's that honey... OK, I'll have it ready in a minute -- GTG.
