I use a catch-all account, but it is a separate account from my personal account (catch-all goes to null@domain.com).
From there my mail filter (popfile) can automatically classify any mail that comes in the catch-all account as SPAM. So I get to use this free corpus of spam to train my filter without me actually having to do anything.
For the family members who continually misstype my email, whitelists are used to make sure the mail gets safely through.
Can you totally modify the way your computer runs by writing shell scripts or modifying existing ones?
Well I don't know what you do with your scripts, but all of the DOS scripting functionality is still availible in windows, so anything that can be run from the command line can be automated this way. NT adds even more functionality to the command line. You could just as easily use the windows scripting host for scripting and automating GUI functions, thought I know that the windows scripting host is a common target for virus writers.
If it works at all like the NetMD software (don't get me wrong, I love Minidisc, but hate netMD), the time it takes to transcode from MP3 to ATRAC3 is insgnificant compared to the file transfer speed.
It only takes a few seconds per file to transcode, and it will leave your MP3 collection alone.
Allofmp3.com is 100% legal, in Russia.

God, my Tarus needed a damn tool for the brake pistons as well. This was of course discovered after both fron tires were removed, and the piston had extended all the way, so there was no driving to the auto store for the time being. It took a little head scratching, but a large screwdriver and a c-clamp did the trick.
Man I applied to be a Beta Tester, Never, in all of my experience of beta testing, has any company asked for my resume. That's somewhat odd, don't you think?
Of course not! In SmashTV you could WIN BIG PRIZES!! BIG MONEY!! I LOVE IT!!
I personally found Smash TV to be much differet, sure, yhe controls were the same, and you went at it one room at a time, but there were item pickups, differnt weapons, and bosses. Possible more evolutionary than revolutionary, but don't think it's fair to compare them so directly.
Are there really PocketPC devices out there with enough memory to waste with a CD image for a Playstation Emulator?
I fould what seems to be the site for the main PSX emulator, but there's no mention of the process required to rip a gaime. I assume you have to manually remove all sound and video, but it still sounds like these games would be huge in comparison to say, SNES.
I did similar for Time crisis 2. I trilled a hole in the "C" button, and insalled a stereo phono jack in it so that shorting L and R together closed the switch. For a pedal, I use a sustain pedal from a keyboard. Works great.
Is that really the case at PIT? At all of the airports I've ever been to, (DFW, MKE, ATL, YYZ) the food courts are always on the "public" side of security. Granted, larger airports put some smaller courts and food shops gate-side, but the largest ones are availiable to the ticketless public.
The graphics output of the PSOne hardware gets passed on to the PS2's GS, so they can run a smothing filter on the textures. That's the limit of the graphical improvments the PS2 offers. On some games I've heard this make a world of difference.
Hmm, Honestly my technical documents can't confirm or deny that. It's possible, but again, the PS2 (and the PSOne) does support more that 2 controllers when you add the Multi-taps. I'd say that this was more a design decision than a design limitation, so that they could sell $30 accessories to those who want to play 4 player games.
I just thought that I'd clear up the common misconception that there is a performance or innovation cost for including the PS2's backward compatibility. There wasn't. The PS2 contains the entirety of the PSOne hardware, PSOne games are played natively, not emulated, and the PSOne hardware controls I/O when a PS2 game is running. Because Sony already had chip fabs and such for the PSOne chips, repurposing those chips in the new system actyally saved them money. Being able to play the old games was just a benefit of this route.
Phonenitics similarities aside, every time I speak "Microsoft" aloud versus "MikeRoweSoft" there is a difference in the phonetic spacing. Though that could just be because I want to find a difference. Personally, I serously doubt that anyone could possibly get the two companies confused.
Though honestly I agree that his biggest mistake was to say that his domain was worth $X. Even thoug Mirosoft supposedly said they were willing to cover out of pocket expenses for the domain.
Personally I'd like to see copies of these emails and letters.
If that's true, then the NetMD upload petition worked! http://www.minidisc.org/netmd_petition_support.htm l This is exactly what we were wanting; to allow anythin recordec from an analog source to be uploaded back to the computer (but not digital, to calm their obvious piracy concerns).

If this turns out to be for real, I will buy it the day it comes out.
Nintendo's "Plan B" is probbably Pokemon. From my stint in retail, I've seen that line of toys fly off the shelves, and we would sell more copies of the gameboy games that probbably all the other gameboy games put together.
I built a cabinet for about $850 plus labor, the only parts I had on hand was the computer (this is a mame machine). Namco itself sells something very similar for about $2800.
So yeah, assuming I wanted to put space invaders in it, I suppose $200 from ebay for an originaly board, there you go $1000 plus labor, and not all of my parts were new.
Things like this are never as cheap as they seem, not to mention, like every game, there will be a development cost to recover as well.
If you use you phone as a cellular modem, (the 3g phones get you about 128kbps) Sprint had a good deal, unlimited data, it just uses your availiable minutes, so I suppoes it's only really unlimited on night and weekends, bit it's still better for light useage than most plans I've seen.
Honestly though, the PS2 Linux kit is worthless as a computer replacement. The monitor cable that comes with the kit works with very few commercial monitors, and the imported cable gives shitty picture quality. We just now have a modern Mozilla build, but the PS2 is just too slow for standard PC tasks, I can browse the web faster on my cell phone.
Untill we get more modern (efficient) Linux software, it's pretty useless as a computer.
Guess what? Those pens aren't the same as the article's technology, those "conductive inks" are just metallic particles suspended in polymer. T-ink is different, and NOT sold in Radio Shack. Try contributing something useful, or don't even bother.
Wow, that Microsoft watch is actually pretty interesting! I wonder what rock I was under to miss that? Don't forget about the new Palm Wristwatch too! Though now I see they have the MS watch mentioned too.

I'm sorry your attention span is so low you don't appreciate one of the hardest shooters ever made. You're really missing out.

Alright, I will, I was only half-serious.

Fist time was earlier today. I've probbably lost count.

Conductive ink? I've seen the pcb etching stuff, but never conductive ink. Enlighten me with a link or CAT number?
