I guess I'm lucky then, I've done my homework. I grew up Catholic and went to Catholic school and have read the bible.
Many of the stories in the bible are derivatives of stories that have been told ages before the bible and are echoed in religions that predate christianity. Christianity even found it useful to borrow holidays from earlier religions.
They didn't really make anything up as much as borrow things from different places and put them together in another context.
I'd advise that you play his favorite games while he's not around to see which it is. Next time he says "I can't save here!" you can be like "LIES! I saved there yesterday!"
Don't overwrite his profile though... that's just evil.
"let's not make judgements about the concequences of there being such a deity; that deity could very well want itself to be known by it's creation. the existence of God is not necessarily just the result of human imagination."
Of course, after humans created the idea of god, they could decide that this made up god would want us to know about it to further our believe in what we made up.
Business Objects isn't a data warehouse. It's a data reporting tool.
You use it to link databases together and give objects in the databases normal names. It doesn't store any data itself other than the mappings.
Let me reiterate that I wasn't involved in the purchase so I don't know what was promised or expected. I just use it, and I know of the constant delays in setting it up. Far longer that was expected.
Business Objects is a company. They make absolutly horrid software.
I am forced to use their flagship product (Business Objects) at work. It is the worst software package I've ever encountered.
A typical 30 minutes session involves 5 minutes for it to load on my reasonably fast pc (3Ghz), opening up my recent files, restarting it several times after I get "CS, Unexpected behavior" errors and shutting it down after a waiting 10 minutes for my file to run.
They also provide a web interface for the software I'm using which also requires several restarts to get anywhere.
For any IT people out there whos companies are considering this software, RUN!
DO NOT GET IT.
They may or may not tell you about the months of work you will need to spend working with an outside consultant to map all your various databases to each other. And that's not included in the cost. Also the need for one of your employees to spend all day being an administrator.
I'm running Fedora Core 4 and I have a similar problem.
I run an Audigy 2 sound card and it doesn't work.
I found a thing somewhere in the gnome menu's for it and I turned on some digital something or other checkbox and it kinda worked. But I had to reformat and reinstall the day after I installed the first time and now I can't get my sound card to work again.
I've checked out a few forums, but no luck. Google brings me to some sort of new driver site... but that's very confusing.
Could you help? I'm dying to stay with Linux, but no sound = no good... especially for audio editing.

Just another possibility.
The laws of thermodynamics have very little influence here since they all deal with a closed system.
You'll find that the laws of physics and the laws of thermodynamics call for pockets or order within the larger system as a whole.
It's exactly like switching shampoo.
You don't like the game anymore, then don't play.
You don't have time invested in your character... you have time wasted on your character.
I've wasted many hours developing a character in Metroid, but when I don't want to play anymore, I don't play anymore.
There's no obligation to feel I must keep playing it.

Ha, yeah. Maybe I'll have time to tinker with it some day.
Or did you assume that my personal website was the company I work for that is using Business Objects?
Not at all, but it was far more time to get the product up and running than we were lead to believe.
I have to say that I wasn't involved in the decision to purchase, I'm just stuck using it.
As to the version number: 6.5.1
For anything larger than 2-3 databases, Business Objects is terrible and unstable.
There's nothing intuitive about it's interface or it's terminology.

Bah. I'll just download OSX86 when it gets cracked and play with it.
Will that make me a convert?
My only fear is that after I first boot to OSX, I won't have the memory to eject any disks in my drives.
Agreed, that makes alot of sense!
Unfortunately, the legal side of exporting high-end computer hardware is much more complicated.
This issue has nothing to do with what the Mozilla Foundation things of programmers from different geographical locations.

Luckily for your the contest isn't limited to the US.
Unless you consider the majority of Canada and the EU to be insignificant entities.
Get more feasible contest laws.
First off, every Whateverian that I've met has been a complete prick, and undeserving of entry into such a contest.
Second, it's probably due to the legality of shipping the prizes.
European as in "EU" European, which is included in the permitted list?
Daemon Tools works just fine for Civ 4, but you need to hide it from the program that it's a loaded image.
There's this tiny program I have called sd4hide, which fills that gap.
I've been playing long enough to enjoy the game, and now I'll go buy it.
The game is so much fun and the pace has been evened out alot.

True, I really enjoyed how starcraft let you install spawns so you could share the game with poor friends.
I hope this'll make it easy enough to rip the CD image and just mount it with Daemon Tools to play.
I hate CD swapping.
